Jinjing and Meili accompanied Mother Sheng and the men went over to visit the driver, old man Fu. He had been with the Sheng's since Meili and Liang were little. He was loyal and a confidant.
He was put up in a private room as well. His wife was sitting beside him on a chair feeding him some water, when Mr. Sheng knocked before entering. Buzz followed suit.
Old Man Fu and his wife humbly greeted the two. Mr. Sheng held old man Fu's hand and asked him "how are you feeling? If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask." Mr. Sheng had always kept his staff well. He believed that it increased their productivity and loyalty.
With tears in his eyes, old man Fu replied, "thank you Master Sheng. I am sorry I could not protect the young master." He felt utterly guilty.
Listening to his words and knowing old man Fu's driving skills, Mr. Sheng found it strange that such an accident could be his fault.
Just when he was about to ask the driver about the details, the police came in to take old man Fu's statement. The hospital had informed the police that the driver had gained consciousness.
The detective greeted Mr. Sheng "hello Mr. Sheng. It is good to meet you."
"likewise" Mr. Sheng replied.
Turning to the driver the detective mentioned, "we are here to record your statement as to what exactly happened at the time of the accident."
"we would like to be hear as well. If that is okay?" Mr. Sheng asked. The detective simply nodded in agreement.
Old man Fu's started recounting the ordeal.

Back to the beginning of the day.
Taking the late night/ early morning flight, Liang landed in city B at around seven in the morning. Taking his hand carry he made his way out of the airport. The sun was already out and it was warm , but Liang was completely unfazed by it. He was so lost in Jinjing's thoughts and thoughts of their reunion, that nothing else mattered to him. He just wanted to go and fetch her as soon as possible.
Just then, old man Fu arrived with the car and helped Liang settle in. Liang treated the old man as family and he would discuss random things with him. The old man noticed that the Young master was particularly blissful today. It had been a long time since he saw him so happy.
They had just driven down a block from the airport and had stopped at the red light. During the entire duration, Liang could not stop grinning and talking about Jinjing to the driver. Old man Fu was also very happy seeing him blush like a teenager. The two were happily conversing when the light turned green, and their started going forward.
Suddenly right in the center of the intersection, a trailer came out of nowhere and rammed into their car, making it topple multiple times before resting completely upside down.
The impact of the hit was more to the rear end, so old man Fu suffered light injuries. But he could see from his place, that the young master was losing consciousness. Not long before even he passed out.

Back to the present.
After narrating the entire episode, old man Fu broke down. He was blaming for not being attentive enough. "But I was following the rules and maintained the right speed. I don't know from where the trailer came and bumped into the car from the side. I did not see this coming." Mr. Sheng consoled him and assured him that it was not his fault.
The detective said "by the time we reached the accident spot, the driver of the trailer fled the scene. We could not capture him, but we are investigating the company to which the trailer belonged. I will keep you posted about any developments." Shaking his hands with Mr. Sheng, the detective took his leave.
A few minutes later, Meili and Jinjing pushed Mrs. Sheng's wheelchair in the room.
Giving them a surprised look Mr. Sheng questioned, "why did you bring her here?"
Meili shrugged her shoulders and said, "she was insisting. She was leaving on her own if we did not do what she asked for."
Frowning at Meili, father Sheng could do nothing but make his wife comfortable. Mrs. Sheng enquired from old man Fu about his health.
Looking at Jinjing, the driver sadly said "Young Master loves Ms. Lee a lot. He was talking about you all the time. Even before he lost consciousness, the last sentence he breathed out was 'Jinjing wait for me.'"
That was it, and Jinjing lost all her rationality and sobbed uncontrollably like a little child.
