Jinjing stood frozen in her place. Looking at her state, Papa Lee quickly took the phone before it slipped out from her hand.
"Hello, this is Mr Lee. What's the matter?" Papa Lee asked over the phone.
Buzz replied, "Mr. Lee…. Sheng Liang met with a serious accident and in currently critical."
Providing the hospital details to Mr. Lee, Buzz hung up and went back to consoling his distressed fiancée.
Papa Lee shared the news with his wife. Shaking Jinjing out of her stupor, he went along with her to the hospital. Being the VP of Sheng Corp. and also Jinjing's father, Papa Lee found it obligatory to visit the hospital.

Looking like a complete mess, Jinjing entered the hospital and witlessly started asking for the direction to the emergency room.
All the way from her house to the hospital, Jinjing kept rocking back and forth and repeatedly mumbled 'nothing can happen to him.' like a chant.
Witnessing his daughters fragile condition, papa Lee asked some personnel for the direction and guided her to Liang.
Outside the emergency room, the entire Sheng family was present. Foreheads tensed, eyes red, quivering lips, everyone was praying for Liang's well-being. Jinjing made her way to Meili, who was held by Buzz in his embrace.
She had stopped crying but still looked lost. The moment she saw Jinjing, she ran and hugged her and started wailing once again. This time, even Jinjing lost control over her tears and let them flow without restraint.
On the other hand, papa Lee comforted Mr. Sheng. Acting sensibly, he bought a few bottles of juice and water and handed them to the entire family. He also inquired about Liang from the nurse in-charge.
Verifying his relation to the patient, the nurse informed briefly, "the patient is critically injured. He has a concussion and severe trauma to his abdomen."
"What time was he brought in?" Papa Lee further inquired.
"20 minutes back. But I believe the accident took place long before, as he lost a lot of blood." The nurse patiently replied.
Knowing that, the president of Sheng Corp. was admitted to the hospital, the best of the staff was employed to help. Soon the head of trauma, hurriedly made his way into the emergency room. The sudden panic caused the Sheng family along with Jinjing to rise to their feet.
Without wasting his time answering the bewildered family, the doctor tended to the critical patient.
Before the door to the emergency room could completely shut, they heard him shout, "charge to 260!" and then everything fell silent.
