Having ironed out their differences , the happy couple made their way to the parking space.
They decided to have lunch together, just the two of them.
Jinjing sat on the shotgun seat and was putting her seat belt on when she remembered something and pouted. Liang noticed her cute pout and inquired "what's the matter sweetheart?"
Jinjing turned to look at him and said "it's just that… Jiaying sat on this seat." Not wanting to exaggerate a petty issue, she simply sighed and began to look outside the window.
Liang undid his seat belt and moved forward a little. He held her chin and brought her to look at him.
"I did not invite her to sit. Yesterday I was so pissed off that I did not realize when she hopped in."
"okay! yesterday you did not but then what about today? And you also had breakfast specially made by her." Jinjing raised an eyebrow and waited for his rebuttal.
Scratching his head, Liang replied "well as of today morning I had to pick her up because her car was left here…." He trailed "and as for the breakfast, I couldn't decline as Mu's are very close family friends, especially my mom, that's why."
The sourness in her mood toned down a bit but she was not completely okay with it. She knew she could not do anything about this.
Seeing she is still lost in her thoughts, Liang kissed her forehead and said "okay! now don't be upset. Let's brighten up and have a romantic lunch together….hmmm?"
Driving to a cozy French restaurant nearby, the two found a warm corner away from the public.
It was an L shaped seating, with one part fixed to the French window and the other standing free.
The interior of the restaurant was done in warm undertones and even though the sky was bright outside, inside the restaurant it was warm and comfy.
The couple sat themselves on the seat adjoining the French window, leaving the other side empty.
"go sit on the other seat, I want to sit near the window. The landscaping is so amazing. I want to admire it." Jinjing said pushing Liang towards the other half of the seat.
"no way! I am sitting close to you" he scooted even closer and held her around the waist.
"there is such a handsome man sitting right next to you and you still have eyes for the landscape?" Liang teased her.
"such a narcissist." She elbowed Liang.
Embarrassed that someone would see them behaving all lovey dovey, she quickly scanned her surroundings. They were not many people in the restaurant. Since it was spacious, the tables were far from each other. Moreover, there was a huge pillar cutting them off from public view.
They spend their lunch time blissfully, snuggling, kissing and feeding each other. Soon it was time to return for classes.
