Liang and Jinjing made their way to the rooftop. Liang continued his upset act by not looking in Jinjing's direction. But he was carefully listening to every sound in the background, trying to figure out what she was preparing to do.
"Liang I am sorry." Jinjing apologized. "I am sorry for not contacting you on Sunday." She was still faced with Liang's back. Never the less, she continued
"I was caught up with work and forgot to charge my phone. When I realized it, I tried calling you but your phone was off" unable to see his reaction, she moved forward and leaned her back against the railing he was overlooking, facing him directly.
"I will take care that this does not happen again, okay? so let's end this here and make peace." She extended her hand towards Liang for a handshake.
Not satisfied with her attempt at easing the tension, Liang turned away from her.
Moving a little away from her he thought to himself "that's it! She is not going to coax me at all. I was expecting so much more from her."
Seeing his behavior, Jinjing went up to him and said calmly. "I made a mistake and owned up to it. It was not my intention to not contact you."
Breathing deeply as if having decided something, she spoke "if for every unintentional mistake of mine, you are going to behave in such a manner and not talk for days, I don't know what else to do. It would be very tough for our bond to remain intact, especially since it is so new."
Utterly disappointed Jinjing started to leave. Hearing the retreating footsteps, Liang turned around and rushed towards her. He caught hold of her arm.
"stop! Don't go. I realize now. But I was expecting you to do more to pacify me. Don't you love me?" Liang complained.
"what about you? Don't you love me? Then why did you not hear me out when I first approached you.
I was waiting for you at lunch but you chose to sit with Jiaying." Jinjing let out her frustration, she could not keep it in anymore.
"Liang! I am the other half in this relation. HALF not more not less. That means I am an equal. Equally important, equally responsible, equal in everything and you need to respect that."
Jinjing gave him a piece of her mind. "Every time we disagree, if you end up sulking for days or involve a third party between us and expect me to endlessly coax you… then you've got the wrong person. I will apologize when I am wrong but I am not going to turn myself into a door mat, just to appease your male ego."
Saying this, she turned to leave.
Having understood his mistake, Liang hugged her from behind, placing his chin on her shoulder he said "I am sorry. I love you a lot. Please don't be upset. Okay?"
Not receiving any reply, he tightened his grip around her waist and pecked on her cheeks.
Practicing what she preached a few moments ago, she let go of all her grievances and turned around to look at him
Placing her hands around his neck she said "it's fine. But we should not let this happen in future. If we have issues, we will sit and talk it out. No running away or sulking…. okay? deal?"
"DEAL!"
The moment this word left his lips, Liang crashed his lips on to her and kissed her with intensity, as if sealing the deal.
He missed her, he missed their passion, he missed her fragrance, he missed kissing her. It was heaven and he did not want to leave.
Liang kept moving from their current position, all the while continuing to kiss her senseless, until they reached a wall. He pushed Jinjing against the wall and continued kissing her.
Running out of breath, Jinjing started beating slightly on his shoulder, indicating him to stop and when they did, both were panting.
"ohh!! I've missed you so much. It's been two days since our last kiss." He said.
Not stopping just there, he caressed her cheek and rested his forehead against her's.
He inhaled her sweet natural body scent and confessed
"you are my drug. I am addicted to you. I am going crazy for you… my love, only for you."
Going in for another round of passionate kissing
