Chapter 1 - Greater

In the black void drifted a white speck which resembled an intelligent mind drifting along the River of Styx awaiting for it's life to be assigned a new role, a purpose. As life isn't just created it's recycled each death that occurs the spirit is sent to be judged by the weighing of souls, by the God of Reincarnation Ry'hiem, the Ruler of the Pantheon, above all godhood.

Returning to the drifting speck, countless eons has passed since this representation of a soul has entered the cycle to be assigned it's purpose. Among the many different different worlds, dimensions, parallel universes death is an prevalent event so one can only imagine the line to be assigned a new life is theoretically endless but similar to a slugs pace it was eventually this soul's turn.

The weighing of souls took place in a mausoleum that was divided into two halves, the left was made of a sleek obsidian-esque material that was as smooth as jade, and warm as a kindle from a fire, staring into it made one feel welcomed, and at ease. To the right the material was made of white marble. Contrary to the left the white marble was a piercing white that could make the pupils sting, the coldness emitting from it could be felt from the soul, the purest form of justice.

In the middle of the mausoleum where the sides overlapped sat Ry'hiem, his godly form could only be described as imposing yet at the same time friendly, his body was divided. Each side represented a face that one has hated, with other half a face that one has loved or has been fond of. His body type could be described as humanoid, as he sat in his throne the pressure he gave off made one feel insignificant, from his throne you could only look up at him as in his godly form his height couldn't be measured. At his feet sat the scales, covered in rust stains that resembled dried blood and gave off a imperial vibe, and in the front of the scale hovered the white speck of a soul.

"The time for judgement has come, your soul shall be weighed for it's worth, no matter what you've done in your previous life it will be accounted for, and weighed as justice or injustice, each side the scale tips represents your alignment, and how you shall be judged" said a voice that sounded from as if coming from all around at once, leaving one to only imagine it to be as Ry'hiem.

With this being said the white soul took a step forward and the scales began tipping, as the scales began moving a screen of light appeared before it. In the screen a small boy could be seen laying in bed his body sickly, his eyes murky. This was the soul's previous life, bedridden confined to a square mattress, his limbs similar to twigs, and his black hair covering his face, the atmosphere of lost hope could be seen, a life that hasn't been lived.

Thinking that the god has any compassion or kindness is all for naught in the eyes of justice all are equal, the scales only played this one scene because this was the only event that has ever happened in this individual's life. The scales slowly began to stop balancing out and and stopped where both sides where level, representing neutrality, where no good but yet not bad has ever taken place in this person's life.

"This is a rare case I see... you have lived a life where you have accomplished nothing but death, how shall you be judged, I must remain as fair as possible, how about we let it be in fate's hands, I will let you reincarnate but in the process I won't interfere with it's direction what you become is up to destiny"

"Whatever you become for surely has to be greater"

And with that being said the white speck of a soul was warped and twisted and sent out out of the mausoleum to the reincarnation cycle it's destination unknown.
