After learning the truth about John's origin, the angel and demon generals stood speechless and unsure as to of what course of action to take to ensure survival, let alone victory. Samantha, who grew up with John as a human and into his change of power was speechless as she first heard this story. The story allowed for several of Samantha's suspicions to ring true. John, who was brought into the village unknowingly, who was adopted in by the Black family. Now she understood where John was "born" and who brought him into the village for the Black family to raise. He has access to a vast knowledge base and could handle and improve any task assigned to him by anyone in the village. She now understood how John was able to improve simple tasks such as farming and blacksmithing, he had knowledge from both angels and demons, both of which were far more advanced than humans. John may not have understood where his ideas came from but had no issues implementing them himself. "John, who else has heard of your birth?" Samantha asked. "No one else has heard it, I just learned it myself recently. When I fully merged my soul with Ampol and Doren, their entire lives and thoughts also became mine. I didn't fully understand what was going on but it was as if I were living through three different lives. Once I had comprehended what was going on, I realized, I've been tapping into their knowledge ever since I was young. It no longer feels like the knowledge was brought into my mind by an outside force, but rather they are my memories and lives as well. Still being able to differentiate them from the life I'm living know, I know their lives aren't over either." John explained thoroughly. "When we spoke earlier, you made me a promise to end this war so that I may continue my life in the city you built. How can you possibly end the war when you're conflicted with all sides? You're part human, demon and angel. How will you pick a side without conflicting the others?" Samantha questioned as the generals leaned in waiting for the answer as well.
"You've got your perspective backwards." John replied. "I'm not conflicted with all sides of the war, I'm proof that all sides can live peacefully together. I'll end this war with as few deaths and as little violence as possible. The angels want the demons eradicated, the demons want the angels eradicated, but the human, they're the key. Do you know what the human's want?" John questioned. "To live." Samantha responded. "In a way, you're correct but not fully. They don't just want to live, they want to prosper. They want peace and love, they want to make the world better for their children. As a human, I understand their thoughts and wishes. As a demon, I understand the anger and hatred, the need for killing and violence. As an angel, I understand the love and peace, the need to end all evil. Looking from one side only ensures one ideology. Looking through all sides, you can see the solution. The angels will not be lead by demons and demons wont be lead by angels. Humans won't be led by demons but will bow to angels. It seems confusing at first but if you look at it over and over the answer is obvious. Humans should lead with the assistance of both. Not allowing either side more power over the next. Humans themselves will lead violence and death but will also look for peace and love. I know what has to be done, but I have no idea how to implement the changes. No matter which course of action I look into, there's always going to be hatred between angels and demons. If we try to merge them to support humans, both sides will suffer losses, which is going to breed vengeance and revenge. The holy and the damned need to remain separated but both need equal influence over the humans. Before anyone will listen to my ideals, I need to take command of both sides. Prove my strength to the demons and my holiness to the angels. I was hoping both sides here would follow my ideals and give me support. This plan will not be perfect and flawless but we can work out those over time." John explained unaware of what was going on around him.
Looking away from Samantha, he glanced over what was the battlefield and noticed that several angels and demons were listening intently. Some were disgusted other were supportive and others showed no emotions. John glanced over at the angel and demon generals, both of which were lost in thoughts. "What do you think?" John questioned towards the generals. "Well you've definitely given this quite some thought. Angels and demons influencing the human and live on through them. Making their legacies as our legacies. As you've said, it is flawed and imperfect, however it definitely seems logical. Although all I can do is offer you my support, which isn't much as I am a low rank general and cannot force the rest here to follow you against their will." the angel explained. "What the angel said is not far from what I was thinking, we support violence, war and death without losing our own. Proving ourselves through the conquest of the human. It'd be the ultimate proof of strength, overcoming battles with fragile and weak bodied humans. Just as the angel said, I can only offer you my own support." the demon responded. "That's all I was asking for, the angels and demons surrounding us can think for themselves. If you agree to follow me, please stay, otherwise please return from where you came. I plan to meet with each general starting with you two and working up both ladders. Any who follow me may be present for any future meetings, I just ask you let them voice their own opinions before voicing yours." John announced. "Then we shall talk to our leader and arrange a meeting." the generals agreed. "Before they agree, be sure to inform them, this will be a peaceful meeting. Any violence between the angels and demons while in my presence, will resort in me responding with it. They may bring their blades with them for their own safety but the witnesses and army behind them must be unarmed." John explained. "We understand, we shall report back at this place within a weeks time, either with our leaders or on our own. Thank you for showing us another way." the generals spoke.
As the generals turned to leave, Samantha looked back at John. "You can stay with me for the week if you wish." John said. "I'm afraid, I must decline this time, as we are bringing back great news and we all must be present for the punishment and the answer of the next in line." Samantha responded. "I understand." John replied quickly. With a leap John ascended to the hilltop. Overlooking the battlefield, he watched as both armies dispersed quickly. After all that was left was the empty field, John sat down and began to meditate with Ampol and Doren. "How can I help you both attain 100% of your lost powers?" John asked. "For an angel, there are three ways I can think of, two of them however are despised and wouldn't allow for our predecessors to respect you." Ampol replied. "Same for the demons." Doren replied. "I want to hear them." John replied. "First way is to condition your body and build your faith and ties to holiness." Ampol explained. "The other two are only temporary and could prove fatal." Ampol continued. "Conditioning you're body is also the way for demons, however after that, you need to prove your battle prowess by defeating other in battle." Doren responded. "As with the angels, the other two are not worth the explanation." Doren continued. "Okay, that settles it, for the next week, I will be conditioning my body further. I will push myself past my limits." John replied.
