I let out a yawn and slammed myself on the bed. It's been days since I got out of the hospital, and now here I am, living at my own apartment.
It's not really that big, but it's enough for me to live in. I can feed myself here, I can sleep peacefully here and I can have my peace.
I was already enrolled on a random University, I don't know any information of it, all I know is that it was just near here. Plus, I think I don't have to worry about anything. I'm fully healed and I'll absolutely get my chances to finally have bigger rewards. I'll be graduating College without a problem.
Sighing, I stood up again and faced the mirror. I took off my shirt only to reveal a big scar on the middle. I was stabbed a few times, it was somehow surprising how I was given a big miracle to survive that.
I traced the scar with my fingers. Damn, here you go again, Red, falling in love with yourself. I let out a bitter chuckle and shook my head. These abs surely are hell attractive, I wonder how many nurses fell for me while taking care of me at that time when I was unconscious?
How narcissistic of me.
It's getting hot, I should just sleep without my shirt on. I turned on the ceiling fan and took my phone. Sitting on the bed, I was looking for things to do to make me tired. It's eight PM and I need to sleep early. Specifically because University starts tomorrow.
A contact number caught my attention. Hmm... It's been months since that incident. Did she forget me? Should I find out by texting her or what?
I pressed the number and left her a text.

She'll probably see that tomorrow. What should I do to kill time? I want to sleep but my insomnia is being the problem.
Whatever. I should just stare at the ceiling or never sleep. I turned my phone off and layed down on the bed again. Maybe counting sheeps will help.
〈Monday〉
I buttoned up my navy blue shirt and wore the school's black vest. I loosened up my tie a little since a nerdy look doesn't really fit me. Wearing my shoes, I grabbed my schedule and got out of the dorm.
And yes, I arrived here by 4 to arrange my stuff here inside my dorm. I wanted to take my time so I went earlier. It's still 6 PM and I already wore the uniform. Opening Ceremony starts by 7:30 so I also decided to walk around to school so I can memorize which is where.
"Hey buddy!" ( ´∀｀)
I turn around to see the guy who's assigned to be my roommate. "Hello." (-_-)
"I see you're new here. Where College did you go to last year? Why did you transfer?" he starts a conversation as we started walking.
"Rutherford. My Mother wanted for me to go somewhere near my apartment so she chose this school."
"My sister studied there. Say, what's your name? We're roommates, we should socialize." he giggles.
"I don't go on telling my name for a stranger to know."
"Come on, at least cooperate! I'm trying to be your friend, ya know."
"Sorry, I'm not interested." (ーー゛)
I left him behind as I roll my eyes. I'm just really not in the mood to make friends with anyone today. We're roommates anyway, we can get to know each other by having the same dorm together. Isn't that enough?
"Hey, hot stuff!"
I flinch as a girl suddenly showed up in front of me. I blinked a few times and turned around to look behind me. I glanced at her again and gave her a confused look.
"Are you talking to me?"
"Duh! Who else?"
Hot stuff? Well, I am hot after all. (^_-)-☆ "Umm... Thanks?"
"You're new here, right?"
I noticed a sash wrapped around her sleeve that says VP. Eh? Could it be that this girl is the... Vice President of the College Student Council?
"Yeah...? Hello?"
"That's great! Do you want me to tour you around the school?"
"Ah, no, I can do it by myself." ―is what I wanted to say. I can reject her offer if she's a guy but... I'm not that type of person who neglects girls so easily. At the same time I don't wanna get involved in any socializing! I could do that tomorrow but not now, I'm not in the mood! (｡ŏ﹏ŏ)
"Sooo...?" she asks, waiting for my answer.
"Uhhh..."
What should I do? A. Run away. B. Accept the offer. C. Pretend to be gay. I mean, girls aren't interested to tour a gay around, right...?(･ัω･ั)
"Come on! I'm not that bad!"

"That's all. The building's quite big, no? I'm glad I was able to help." the girl smiles.
"Yeaahh..." (¯―¯٥)
"Opening ceremony will start by 30 minutes. We still have a lot of time, soo... What's your name? Hehehe."
"Uhh... I don't...have any name." (ーー゛)
"What's wrong with telling your name? Are you an anti-social person?"
"No, it's not that."
"Ohhh, was it because you were uncomfortable when I called you hot stuff?"
It's true so I don't really blame you for that. "Sorry, I'm just not in the mood to talk to anyone today."
"I see... It's okay! I understand, hehehe!"
I really am not in the mood to talk to anyone here because people here makes me feel so uncomfortable. Don't know why but I feel like they'll attack me sooner or later. (-_-;)
Like this girl in front of me.
I noticed a bulletin board beside me and a flyer caught my attention. What is this? General Training for students after classes. All are required to come. Meeting place at the school battlefield?
"What's this General Training? And school battlefield?"
"Oh? Haven't heard of what this school does?"
"What do you mean?"
She smirked, "Didn't you know about the school's information before enrolling, huh? Well, let me show you some unearthly magic."
The girl balled her hands into a fist, whispering something I couldn't hear. Slowly, I can feel my head being heavier. "What the hell? What's on my head!?" (((╹д╹;)))
"Snow, fufufu."
"Snow!?"
"Snow."
"How did you do that!? Isn't it spring!?"
"Oh actually, the season has nothing to do with our powers. So we can actually do whatever we want here in this school!"
"Powers!?" w(ﾟДﾟ)w
"Yup!"
So this was why I felt something was off!? Everyone here has superhuman powers I don't even know exist! "But what about the battlefield...? Why do we have that kind of stuff in this school?"
"Um... What's your name?"
"Red. R-Red Van Lorren." I don't care! I wanna know! I'm curious about what this school does!
"Red, this school is a dangerous place. You know what they say? Think before you act. If you don't want it here then you should've got to know the school before you enrolled." she giggled. Looks like she can read people so easily.
People has some supernatural powers here, they can hurt others with it! How can I not want it here anymore!? (゜Д゜*)
"My Mom enrolled me here! If this a dangerous place, why are you all willing to stay here?" I asked, confused.
The girl grinned at me, "This school allows any kind of crime. Such as stealing, killing, whatever. Many people had died and no one graduated here. It's a big mystery but they allow powers to kill the owner of the school."
"What does the owner of the school have to do with this?"
"I don't know if it's true since I've heard a lot of tales and theories about this school, but... The owner is an alien. A beautiful alien that came down to Earth. She had collected four gems, which are the Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond, and Emerald. That's why every students in a class are sectioned into four teams, the Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond, and Emerald. Graduation here isn't just a simple graduation, but it's when the Final Battle occurs. Each team will fight until one will remain as a representative for their team. If they survive, the alien will let them kill her but after that, the representatives has to find on which gems belong to in this school. Once they do that, the school will no longer allow killing but teach their students how to use their superhuman powers on something great! You know, just like Disney's happily ever after!"
The excitement and anxiety that was mixing around me suddenly flew away. "What an unbelievable tale." (눈_눈)
"Do you think it's true?"
"No. There's no such thing as aliens." I shrug my shoulder. "How can you find out if one has powers though?"
"Everyone has their own powers! All you have to do is learn on how you can provoke them into revealing themselves."
"Really? Is this school for real?"
"Yup. You're not dreaming." (´ᴖωᴖ｀)
This school, which I don't even know the name of, is what my Mother enrolled me at. She should've checked if the school allowed these kind of stuffs! I mean, what school would allow crimes anyway!?
I might be studying inside a rather menacing University! What the hell did I put myself into!?
