Chapter 5: Surprise!
Sirena
I look at the address Mr. Martin gave me and look back up toward the beautifully foreboding building. It's an antique skyscraper with a classic roman veneer. The sleeve of my black summer dress slides down my shoulder as I nervously walk inside. The doorman opens the door for me smiling brightly. "Good evening, miss." Trying not to look too nervous, I smile and swallow deeply as I fidget with my bag. The foyer is beautifully decorated. The floor has an intricate mural of a garden in shades of golds, cream, and green. The flowers in the garden are in every shade of pink and peach. The walls have tasteful paintings of roman ladies and men in various states of activity. I pass the large depiction of a roman woman with flowers in her head, sitting on the floor beside her master. She's feeding him grapes. It's a beautiful scene that anyone can appreciate. Mustering my courage, I make my way to the elevators and punch in the code that Mr. Martin gave me.
