Chapter 21 - Fighting out part 2

The battlefield was a scene of carnage, a merciless slaughterhouse where soldiers were falling like leaves in a stormy autumn. Blood flowed freely in every direction, painting the ground with a macabre shade of red. The area was a living nightmare, an apocalyptic vision of death and destruction.

The soldiers that had managed to survive the first wave of attacks were running frantically, their hearts pounding with fear and despair. They were all seasoned fighters, with levels ranging from 40 to 60, but even their battle-hardened bodies were no match for the sheer force of their enemies. These foes were different, much stronger and more vicious, with levels that exceeded anything they had seen before.

As the soldiers were bracing themselves for their inevitable demise, a distant rumble caught their attention. It was a sound that made their hearts leap with hope, a sound that promised salvation.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a massive army appeared on the horizon, marching towards them with relentless determination. This army was eight times larger than the first one, with a myriad of different troop types, all clad in shining armor and bearing the crest of The Imperial Roseguard of the capital Severithus.

"Charge!! Show them the strength of Severithus!" a voice roared above the din. It was Wille, the commander of the Imperial Roseguard, and his soldiers responded to his call with a ferocious battle cry that echoed across the battlefield.

Every soldier of the Imperial Roseguard was a level 100, a force to be reckoned with, a living weapon that could strike fear into the hearts of their enemies. They marched forward with unwavering determination, their swords and shields gleaming in the sunlight.

Unbeknownst to the soldiers, the king had planned this all along. He had sent the first army to test the waters, to gauge the strength of his enemies, to let them die. He had been waiting for this moment, waiting for every kingdom to face him at once, so that he could crush them all under his iron heel.

"FOR THE KING! WE WILL HAVE VICTORY!" the troops of the Imperial Roseguard sang as they marched. The other soldiers from differing kingdoms, seeing them, tried to regroup with them, hoping to join forces and fight back against their common enemy. But Wille's soldiers showed no mercy, cutting them down without hesitation.

The battlefield was a scene of chaos and bloodshed, as Wille's army marched in perfect unison, cutting down any opposition that dared to stand in their way. The soldiers, trained to be merciless and efficient killers, slaughtered cultivators and soldiers alike with cold precision. However, the weak cultivators had attempted to assassinate Wille, the Level 500 boss of every single soldier in Severithus. But they were no match for him. They were at most Level 80 in the level system, and Wille was not one to be underestimated.

Ran watched in horror as his army was attacked on all sides. He knew that they needed something powerful to turn the tide of the battle. "Send out the Gorilla!" he screamed, hoping that the massive creature would be able to protect their leader.

Just as he spoke, a gigantic white gorilla charged onto the battlefield, roaring with fury. "I PROTECT MASTER!" it bellowed, slamming into the enemy soldiers with incredible force. The gorilla was a formidable opponent, tossing soldiers around like rag dolls, but when it finally faced Wille, something strange happened.

The two combatants were evenly matched, each landing blows that could have ended the other's life.

"GO DIE!" The gorilla yelled out and then turned his attention back to the soldiers, realizing that the he was unable to defeat Wille, intent on destroying them instead. But just as it was about to charge forward, Ran cried out, "Dragon Separation!" A massive red dragon appeared on the field, breathing fire and unleashing a barrage of deadly wind attacks.

Soldiers fell left and right, their bodies charred and broken. Wille was now alone, facing the full wrath of Ran and the dragon. He knew that he couldn't win this battle, and he had to protect the king at all costs. With a heavy heart, he turned and fled the field, leaving his army to be slaughtered.

The moment the Kingdom of Siverra triumphed in their battle, an eruption of joy exploded across the faces of the people. The air was thick with excitement as the victorious citizens let out triumphant yells of "VICTORY!" People leapt into the air, their faces beaming with pure elation, while others swayed to the beat of an unseen rhythm, singing with pure abandon. The atmosphere was charged with emotion, every inch of the kingdom alive with the euphoria of their success.

As the people celebrated their first battle victory, they knew that this was just the beginning. They were fueled by a fierce determination to spread their triumph and their religion to other areas, to ensure that the world would hear of their powerful god. The desire to expand their reach was palpable, the fervor to conquer unshakeable.

Meanwhile, Siverra was in the midst of the chaos, killing monsters with ease, his confidence unwavering. He trusted that his army had more than enough power to defeat the kingdom's army, and he remained steadfast in his resolve. However, he had not anticipated the arrival of The Imperial Roseguard, and their presence took him by surprise. Despite this, his Crocoplant remained his top priority, as the bond between the two was unbreakable. When he was with his beloved creature, he felt an indescribable happiness that filled him with a sense of peace.
