Chapter 4 - The Recluse’s Final Moment

Silent. The room was silent, nothing more nothing less. Just how Luna liked it. She was a recluse, she enjoyed solitary confinement. The reason was being that she hated people. But because of this no one knew her and if she got into trouble she would find it hard to have an alibi.

There was a lot of noise next door, just what she disliked the most. It was something she never found out about until the next week when the police knocked on her door. They asked where she had been the night of Ted's murder, if she had an alibi, if there was any camera footage that could have spotted her in her apartment and who she had spoken to that day. Just standard protocol for any well trained knowledgeable police or detective. But Luna had barely finished answering their questions when the officer who had been searching her apartment found a bloody knife in her sink, no sign of meat and a bloody handprint on her window.

Luna was arrested. She was frustrated; someone had framed her because they didn't like the fact that she was a recluse. Well good on them she thought and just after she was jailed she tied her clothes into a rope and hung herself. The cleaners found her body 1 year later and 4 months after they had uncovered Ted's real killer. When they jailed him the parents of Luna sued for wrongful imprisonment and won their court case. But at that point the damage had already been done.
