The next day, the little intruder in the night long forgotten, Ellie is immediately excited as the sexy nun had called us almost immediately and announced that we were being given a special quest.
Supposedly, having news related to figuring out about the return of the long missing princess and her apparent lack of aging the immediate reaction to the general people in charge was suspicion. Whether it's the nobles who were very much planning to take over the country soon who want nothing more then to prove her to be a evil ghost or something or the ever curious but happy public who wants to know exactly what happened.
Regardless of whose asking and whose paying the adventurers guild is happy to investigate. Which happily for the nun seems be the perfect case for the girl who personally knew her and was there the whole time and saw at least the entirety of half the story.
------
Leaving the capital was quite simple I just had to hide in Ellie's new bagpack like old times.
It was the next part that threw Ellie for a loop... For instance at that moment I hopped off her shoulder and grew to my real size as opposed to my largest or smallest size. Then she had the fun exercise of attempting to mount me comfortably.
I don't know about comfort but she definitely figured out how to mount me as eventually she had successfully tied herself to my neck as one of cutest and possibly the only sentient, handkerchief there's ever been.
Flying for me was nothing new and isn't really even much of a chore even with the added wait of Ellie is was quite comfortable. She was of course extremely scared at first as my scales don't exactly give her a good grip so she spent awhile koalaing on my neck trying her best to choke me but failing miserably but thankfully or otherwise found some security in the rope she bound to my neck or simply the mist I condensed to hold her. Despite not being solid it's a bit like having her back constantly pulled along by the currents. So she's pretty stuck on there.
It took many hours to finally spot the river that's name escapes me but finding our old orc boat became an immediate concern. Despite not needing the boat due to us flying we do need to know where we need to head.
Traveling back and forth along the coast it takes me a couple hours to finally spot the place. Yep no orc boat but I can recognize the shore in which we landed and... Parked? None the less we close.
Flying along keeping perpendicular to the flow of the river we reach... The other side.
It takes days but we eventually find a boat. Not the one we are looking for but a boat none the less. Looking at the huge sails and the apparent lack of crew or passengers Ellie decides to board it. So out of pure curiousity I landed.
"Look!!!" Before she's even successfully untied herself she's already found a way to roll to the ground and is now weirdly pinned beneath me and trying to point at something to. Looking over I spot what appears to be a crest. Specifically a noble crest from a human kingdom...
Yeah... Am I sposed to recognize that?
Ellie finding a way to drag herself out from under me backwards which is very much obviously only apparent until she manages to squirm her neck out from the binding but then she continues and squeezes her way between my back legs and fights with my tail for space by pushing against it with her ass before finally getting out from under me. At which point she moves the actual tail of her way and stands up... Yep... Two tails one in the front and one in the back... Nuff said...
"It's the symbol of the carriage Addie left in!!!" Seeing her playing off her stupid weird perverted actions I ignore it before shrinking down which I guess I could have done at any point and climbing onto my mount. Forward!!!
The first major issue we discovered was the door. It was a complex issue in all honesty. The door to below deck seemed to be locked with magic of some kind. Then the problem got stupid.
"They left a key under this pot of soil!!!" Face palming the stupid cliche we figure out the magical lock had a magic key.
*Cough - Cough - Cough - Cough*
Whilst coughing repeatedly Ellie continuously struggles to breath in air trying to breath as she is showered in a sea of dust and mildew smell the moment the door opens.
Seeing her struggling to breath I used the mist inside her to clear her trachea forcing it all down the esophagus. Tasty tasty rabbit stew... Whilst she's struggling with that I force mist down her throat whilst she's gasping and eventually the coughing stops.
"Ah!!! So gross!" Winding my tail around Ellie's neck I stepped onto her collarbone supporting myself with a tail on her head and wipe away the tears forming in her eyes before climbing back in and patting her head whilst rubbing her back with my tail.
"Forward march!!!" Ellie seems to calm down pretty quickly as whilst I'm still trying to comfort her she jumps up and screams before she begins checking room by room.
Thirteen rooms in we realize this ship is bigger then it seems.
Seventy rooms in we begin to debate how it can be this big.
A hundred rooms in Ellie has gotten board.
A hundred and sixty three rooms in... We are both immensely confused and doubting life while staring in the room...
"Oh hello their dear what brings you here?" Looking at the strange milf baking cookies and wearing nothing but an apron I unconsciously find myself expressing excitement and joy in a way most well known amongst all man and beast alike...
*Fap Fap Fap - Slap* Ellie slaps misbehaving tail as it wags hitting her shoulder.
Looking to the traitorous ampendage I find myself comparing the tails. Why can't you be like your younger brother. He only stands at attention with a superior office gives the orderers but here you are flapping about like a sock in the breeze.
I'm not angry I'm just disappointed.
