As doom is immanent I reinforce the new bottom of the cavern to keep the little ones safe. I may die but whatever I'll just have another life but they probably won't and I took care of 'em for so long... I don't feel strongly for them but I definitely don't want the little pets to die just cause I picked a fight. While I am at it I forcefully build a giant system of caves connecting the 3 kingdoms beneath the stone that meet just beneath my root ball. If I do die then they can always climb out, or kill each other off like the crazed monsters they used to be... Ha... Probably the later. I think I'd route for the rats if it wasn't for the elementals. Hmm. Wonder which elemental would win in a fight? Fight vs water... Guess I'd have to go with fire, cause the only example I got is the flying dragon vs the behemoth and the flying one appears to be fine.
Anyways I might as well prepare... My massive body gently shakes and with it countless massive leaves begin to freefall as they strike the ground roots immediately grow and the green begins to form and grow into cannons they may not be useful but might as well give a fight on my way out.
As nothing at all happens after a period of time I can't help but wonder if nothing is gonna happen. I mean it's home is likely nearby mine right so maybe it was just coming this way anyways and I overreacted. As I had that thought the earth began to quake. As the entire cavern shook I couldn't help but direct my gaze to the very top of my cavern. This is clearly not on earth quake. The ceiling is shaking much worse then the floor. As the vibrations are so intense a few more of my leaves that have grown back begin to fall off.
Oh shit wait a second... I move my perspective to the rat kingdom and quickly start taking off the rat armies armor. I cannot leave those things on or they will all become statues when I die then suffocate encased in stone.
Is that all I'm forgetting? I feel like that's all... As I return my gaze to the more violently shaking ceiling I can tell it's getting closer. Honestly it's taking to long. Eh... Well those humans seem to be bullied a lot lets see what they are up to while I wait. Ha... Death is immanent and I'm bored...
Swapping my vision to the one tree I found the are has cooled immensely but is still hot. The actual sun has risen and it was quite beautiful. A crimson and gold hue encasing the whole horizon as my gaze swept over the vast environment of blackness I can't help but feel bad... I quickly begin forcing my now stagnant lone tree to grow. It'll probably just turn to stone once it's done but that's not the point. Quickly the tree ends up about half the size of my real body as I begin to shape it's roots to form a wall quickly shaping a new city and building a giant wooden palace and countless little houses for all the little people before I know it I've built a whole city with a dome over it that is my trees and after all the little houses are perfectly shaped and the giant palace is twice as glorious as it used to be I just hope that it doesn't all immediately fall apart when I die and it probably becomes stone. After admiring my handy work I move my perspective over to the giant bunker door and gently knock on it cause why not then moved my perspective back to my main body.
As I return the shaking has increased immensely as the roof seems to be near collapse I look around at all my work what seems like years have passed since I started growing little critters to act as my clones. As I look over them I quickly harden my heart and begin to mold them all into extra large cannons one by one the birds fall and the wolf becomes the largest wooden cannon that nots built of green flesh like the others once it is all gone I move along to my giant body and immediately start molding all my leaves into cannons one after another before bending the whole trunk as it opens up like a blossoming flower a towering behemoth of a light cannon is made out of my body.
I bet it's got no chance of killing him but it'll hurt like hell at least... Right?
As the thought crosses my mind the entire ceiling seems to start melting away like water as a intense heat wave that instantly begins to burn the green cannons a little and the giant bubble that was my home for so long suddenly becomes a semicircle. As my gaze meets that ugly scaly hide I immediately let loose all the light I had been compressing and building up inside the cannons that were about to explode and the whole world turns emerald for an instant but like every other instants it passes all to soon as the emerald light met a glorious crimson and stone took up the properties of water as the two lights met. At that instant I began to release the energy that I had been building up in my body I had compressed so much light into my flesh that I was only able to hold on because of my regeneration as the heat and pure energy was slowly eating me away as I let it out like a volcano erupting a glorious emerald the balance of emerald and red instantly broke and a roar louder then any other broke out making the whole world shudder.
Looking up with hope in my none existent eyes I saw a beautiful green sky. However as I looked around... I didn't see any dragon. Glorious delight suddenly spreads over me as I can't believe I actually managed to kill that monstrosity that only looked small in comparison to that titan in the sea.
Sadly... My victory was not long lasted as the world shook as an angry roar shook the world yet again filled with an infinite blood lust as my whole body shuddered a crimson light broke the lingering emerald and the world began to vanish before my eyes.
