The staircase from the fourth floor to the fifth floor of the dungeon seemed to be longer than the rest of the staircases. They had already stopped twice to take a break. "Could this be a never ending staircase like that hallway we were in?" Roy asked.
Eon stopped the group and peeked around the next bend in the stairwell. "We reached the bottom." The whole group seemed to sigh in relief. Rielen didn't want to admit it, but she too had been worried they were caught in another trap like the hallway before.
They peeked into the fifth floor. A moss covered ledge greeted them. A dark cavernous whole stretched out as far as the eye could see. Rielen frowned. 'Is it just a giant hole?' She wondered. "Do you think you could manage a light spell here?" Eon asked.
