Fear unlike anything Rielen had ever experienced before gripped her heart. Her knees shook under her, and she couldn't pull her eyes away.
'You need to move. You can't stand here doing nothing.' Her thoughts couldn't break through the fear.
"Rie!" Eon had been shouting at her behind him for a few minutes now. 'Something is wrong,' he thought. He kicked the enemy in front of him, trying to give him a bit of room to check on her.
However, as soon as he got rid of one enemy, two more would take its place. He didn't want to use the artifact in his pocket, but he had no choice.
He threw the object to the ground, and a giant wall appeared.
He quickly turned towards Rielen, and saw the state she was in. 'Did a spellcaster catch her in a spell?' Eon didn't have time to look for it. He did the only thing he could think of.
