Rielen was looking down at the fort that had started their large-scale retreat. Taking a breath, Rielen began gathering the energy from the area around her. Almost immediately she felt a presence take notice of her. 'Not yet.'
Rielen cast a multi-barrier to protect herself. She began filling the magic stones in her pouch one by one. A blast of magic hit her barrier making her concentration break briefly. "You must do better than that if you want me to stop."
Different flashes of light filled the air, all of them aimed at the same spot in the sky. Rielen bit her lip as each blast hit the specially made shield. The pressure alone was enough to force her to increase the mana being supplied to her wind spell.
She felt the wind whip around her. Her braid whipped with the wind, small tendrils escaping the once neat braid. 'Almost there.' Another blast hit her shield. The sound caused a ringing in her ears. 'I don't need to hear. This is fine.'
