Joy filled the Capital as the Royal Engagement was announced. A festival was planned to honor the new ruler of the country. Among the crowds of people getting ready, a young boy ran around, excitedly taking in the sights of the Capital with his mother.
She watched the excited child with love in her heart. She watched closely to make sure the boy didn't get lost as he pointed to the nearest food stall. "You want a candied apple now? My goodness, your appetite is huge." She paid for the apple, and helped her young son eat.
It had been a year since she had traveled to the Capital, at the news of her daughter being crowned the Queen of the country. Her daughter was finally having the wedding she dreamed of, and she had taken her young son out of the Palace to relieve him from the bustling of activities for the Royal Wedding.
