A loud knock at the door woke Rielen up. They wouldn't interrupt them if it wasn't important. She quickly slipped on a robe and left the room, where Eon was still sleeping peacefully.
"What is it?" Rielen demanded. "Your Majesty," a voice outside the door responded, "they have declared war." Rielen sighed, as she knew this was a possibility. "Assemble the Dukes. I will meet with them within the hour." Rielen's face was grim, as she realized her small bubble of happiness was ending shortly.
"Make sure the foreign dignitaries are not suspicious." It was the day after the Royal Wedding, and those that had journeyed far to get here were still guests in the Palace. "Greg, get him ready, it is going to be a long day." Greg bowed before her, and left for the bedroom Rielen had just exited.
