Rielen looked out through the window in the direction she knew Eon was. 'He must have arrived by now.' She itched to use the communication crystal to check on him, but stopped herself. 'He said he would contact me once he knew the situation at the border.'
She had given him full command at the border. The Dukes had protested, but calmed down once the Ivory General gave his approval. "He is the best student I have ever raised," he said proudly. They also couldn't ignore the fact that Eon could take on an entire division on his own.
There were very few military mages as strong as Eon, and he was the strongest in the Kingdom. From a tactics position, it was wise to send in their strongest. HIs strength alone could win him a ducal seat if he brought in achievements throughout the upcoming war.
