[Proto Earth]
There was literally no rest for Kaido at all. One previous night, he was called out by the person who proved a challenge for him, the next moment another person called him out during the night. It was quite irritating to be exact.
During his time in this world where literally no one knows about him, Kaido spent most of his night sleeping, as he let himself feel nostalgia of sleeping peacefully when he was still living a normal life of no danger. So sleeping soundly is quite a treasure for him. This time since the mercenary group that had been after him had finally made their move, Kaido is quite annoyed at the timing they decided to make against him.
After yawning and drinking a hot coffee at the vending machine located at the park, he then breath out a cold breath, as he looked at the starry night sky and wondered when would he return to his normal ordinary life.
Truth be told he was quite tired already. He is not a professional killer, nor a trained spy, nor a super human who requires no rest, he was just a normal human who was pushed enough into desperation, to the point that he can't afford to have the G.E.N.O.S organization to keep existing.
In that moment Argos stood right beside him, as he took out a coin he had gotten from somewhere and put it inside the vending machine, while choosing a warm chocolate beverage to drink alongside Kaido.
"You sleepy?" Asked by Argos
"Your kidding me right? I'm already accustomed to staying awake at night" answered by Kaido as he laughed
"For now that is, remember... your still a human albeit slightly special, since your human, your body naturally have a limit in staying awake, that's the reason why you feel so tired right now"
"Tired? Me? Hah! Come on! Do I look tired to you?"
"You do, in fact I believe that your body will need a lot of rest upon seeing how sluggish your movements are from time to time"
"So you've been observing me?"
"Just this moment, after all I need to keep you in check from time to time in order to make sure you don't tire yourself out to death"
"I... I'm not tired at all"
"Alright! Let's just go with that"
"You know? You should have directed that concern to you guys... aren't you a bit of sleepy this moment?"
"Not in particular, you should know that we're not humans right? One is a archdemon, the other is a Fenrir, the other one is a vampire queen, and I'm a dragon, we don't have the same limit that a human does"
When Kaido heard that, he then looked at the rest of the guys as he remembered that fact and acknowledged that he had made a mistake in speaking out. After all despite the time Aileen, Fengris, and Belial seemed to be enjoying themselves in wasting their time.
In that moment while everyone was spending their time away, a bat suddenly appeared before Aileen and begun squeeking out to her as it literally told her what was happening.
After Aileen listened to the bats who informed her of what she needed to know, she then stood up as he looked at Kaido.
"My bats found him, his in a train station about 3 stops away from here"
When Kaido heard the location of where the mercenary group be, he then nodded as he led everyone towards the designated location.
"Let's go!"

[Train station]
A train station or railway station (also called a railroad station, rail station, or depot) is a place where passengers of rail transport can get on and off trains and/or goods may be loaded or unloaded. Early stations were usually built to handle passengers and goods. Today, goods are usually only unloaded at big stations. Stations are next to a railway line, or they are the terminus for a route. Usually there are platforms to let passengers get on and off the train easily and safely. Many stations have things such as shelters, ticket sales and benches.
A typical day at the train station is full of exciting activities and sights. You will find the stations crowded with autos, taxis, cars, buses, rickshaws, and more. Similarly, there is a lot of commotion there. People are present in large crowds there. Some have come to drop off someone while others are waiting for passengers to arrive. The coolies and porters keep eyeing you to carry your luggage for you so they can earn well.
There are also food stalls, canteens, and street vendors that sell delicious food items and snacks to passengers. They shout out to attract people and sell their items. There are vendors who roam around with their items to sell them. The waiting rooms, ticketing booths and even restrooms are often crowded at the railway station too. The people sit on the cemented benches or their own suitcases while they wait for the train to arrive.
This time in this dead of night, the train station is completely empty. Unknown to people who usually take trains on a daily basis, this particular train station would then be soon be a mess as Janus waited for his guest to arrive at the platform.
In that moment he suddenly felt someone entering the train station, as footsteps begun to echo in the dark and the person who is walking slowly approach him behind.
"So you've arrived, I thought that you would have chosen to ignore the letter"
"Well there is only one reason why I'm here, I plan to put an end to you right here right now... after all you did attack me first back on earth, so you can say that I have a pretty tight grudge against you"
"Oh really, well it seems like I have indeed agitated you, nevertheless knowing that won't be helpful to you at all"
"Right! By the way where's your other friends, I'm pretty sure that you attacked me on a group, so where are your companions?"
"My team? Well they are in a really good space, but even I alone can take you down Kaido"
"You really think so?"
"I do"
Hearing that answer, Kaido senses begun to strike up heightened to a huge degree, as he begun examining the area inside this train station. At the same time he started figuring out where Janus other team members are. But no matter how much he search and uses different methods of finding clues like sonar and heat sensors, he can't seem to find any hostile enemy for about 1 mile. It was as if this place was prepared to be a battlefield and his grave in advance.
In that moment, Janus puts his hand unto his hack pocket as he said.
"In fact I have no grudge agaisnt you, it's just that... its my job"
Without giving off any signs, Janus threw a knife towards Kaido, causing Kaido to stared wide in shock, as he hastily pulled back his head and ever so slightly dodge the throw. But the moment he dodged that knife, Janus then begun preparing his next move, as he suddenly procured a machine gun out of nowhere and started firing off of him.
Upon seeing this, Kaido quickly ran away from his aim, as he hid behind a support beam and waited out till the machine gun hits its limit by overheating.
The shooting lasted for quite awhile, it's firepower was so strong that the support beam he was currently hiding in was slowly being chipped away by its bullets. But just like he expected, the machine gum soon reached its limit, as Kaido quickly moved out in with an intent to rush towards Janus.
However the moment he got out of his hiding, Janus fired off his machine gun once more as this caught Kaido by surprise and immediately erect a psychic barrier in front of him. He never expected that Janus would offset the weapons limit with his psychic ability, due to that he was baited out of his hiding.
Under the siege of fire, Kaido used his psychic ability on a chair on the side, as he busted it out from its bolts and sent it flying towards Janus, causing him to stop his firing and dodge the chair itself. However in that slight opening, Kaido quickly closes in as he destroyed the machine gun, before he sent a straight left hook empowered by lightning attribute towards Janus.
In response to this, Janus erected a pyschic barrier in front of him followed by turning his psychic barrier into a diamond wall which completely blocked out Kaido's attack.
After succefully blocking that, Janus begun to gather whirlwind into his whole left right arm as he disintegrate the diamond wall in a manner of nano second, before letting through his empowered right hook. Seeing this, Kaido countered back with his own right hook as he didn't expect that Janus has empowered his own attack.
Due to that, the moment both of their fist clashed, Janus punch sent out a chilling shockwave, as the wind violently attacked Kaido's right arm, completely ridding it with cuts and injuries.
"Ugh!!!"
Gritting his teeth as he endured the pain, Kaido was sent flying because of Janus attack, as he came crashing into the stations wall, completely imprinting his silhouette along the wall and destroying its tiles. But that attack didn't end there, with quick recovery, Kaido easily regained his composure, as he saw an attack coming towards his direction and forced him to quickly move out of the way.
The moment Kaido dodged Janus iron ball attack, he then sensed danger approaching his left, as he quickly adapted and clearly saw Janus in the clearing about two feet away from him.
"How did he..."
The speed of which Janus move is really fast, even Kaido was caught in surprise on how fast he had closed the distance between them. But being surprise is not an option in a battle, so without thinking it through, he let his instincts moved his whole body as he dodge Janus follow up attack at zero point blank range.
In that moment it was Janus turn to be surprised as he didn't expect Kaido to dodge his attack in point blank range. But that shock was short lived, as Kaido punched him squarely to the face, before he followed it up with his left hook, right gut punch, downward hook. Lastly he then sent out a kick, as Janus took this chance to catch his leg while giving out a bloody smile.
"Caught you!!!"
Tightening his hold unto Kaido's leg with incredible strength, he then swung him around and smashed him through 3 support beam, before lifting him up into the air, before smashing him.to the ground which caused a crater to form.
While Kaido is down, Janus stood before him, as he popped out a huge axe out of nowhere to and swung it down towards him. However before ethe blade could hit him, he then sent out an air shockwave which pushed back Janus and gave time for Kaido to fully recover.
With Janus about quite a distance from him, Kaido begun his next move, as he conjured a metal spear and threw it towards Janus while imbedding it with electricity, before he threw them aiming towards Janus.
Quickly dodging that spear throw aimed towards him, Janus the grew enraged as he suddenly realized that Kaido was nowhere to be found, and was late to sense that Kaido had magnetized the rod in order instantly move like an attracted magnet.
With a strong punch Kaido smacked Janus to the ground, followed by a stomp to his head which caused the floor to collapse all and land on the floor below service floor. But before Kaido could go down, Janus suddenly released a multitude of spikes and even forced Kaido away with that unexpected development.
As Kaido further backed away making sure that he avoided the spikes, he was then soon backed agaisnt the wall, causing him to realize that he was lured into a corner and quickly made his escape by dashing forward in great speed rather than continue backing away. With the speed he was running, Kaido swiftly evaded a lot of spikes sprouting up from the ground, as he quickly jumped off the ledge and went down on the rail tracks.
However the assault didn't end there, the moment Kaido made his landing, spikes suddenly pierced through the concrete from behind, as Kaido quickly pulled back his head to dodge the first spike, before ducking down to avoid the second spike, and dashing forwards to avoid the third spike.
Naturally as Kaido continues to evade the attacks, more spikes sprout out from the ground from the platform, forcing Kaido to continue to be on the defensive. In that moment as if predicting his path, three spikes suddenly shot out towards his predicted path, while 6 spikes were headed his direction, forcing Kaido to quickly stop his tracks and pull out the concrete beneath his feet in order to form a wall in between him and the attack.
Just like that, not only did he avoid getting hit from his predicted path, he was also able to protect himself from the other 6 spikes who are literally just there to scare him to move forward at the designated area. Since the 6 spikes were duds, all 6 of them doesn't actually carry that much force as Kaido successfully blocked those attacks with just a single wall.
Without wasting any time and using the fact that the spikes are extendedly attached to Janus, Kaido touched the side of the spike, as he immediately froze the spike and let the first spread out directly back towards its center. Due to that quick counter, Janus quickly realized that Kaido used the spikes to his advantage, forcing him to come out from his hiding and showcased the current form he had imagines himself at this current situation.
To be a simple explanation, Janus doesn't actually look human at this point, with all the spikes coming out from his hair and back, along some tough front armor, he looks more like a human porcupine, rather than an ordinary human with espeer abilities. However with his esper ability of imagination, Janus can imagine himself to be such creatures of stat, as long as his body can handle such changes.
"You... you look more like a human porcupine"
"I get that a lot, but do you know what happened to the people who told me that?"
"Nope and I don't care"
"They died"
Without any second to waste nor any signs of charging ahead, Janus suddenly disappeared in front of him in the blink of an eye, as Kaido suddenly sensed a presence behind him and quickly duck down, just in time to dodge Janus claw attack that nearly cut off his head. Turning his whole body to counter attack, Kaido sent out an earthen pillar to attack Janus, only to miss as he suddenly disappeared again. Next thing he know, Janus once more appeared behind him and slashed down his back, causing his back to bleed, before getting kicked and crash towards the earthen pillar he had made.
"He... he has gotten faster"
As Kaido was thinking of this while trying to get back up, Janus once more blinked in front of him and kicked his chest, causing him to crash through the earthen pillar and hit his wounded back on the hard rail.
"Argh!!!"
Enduring the pain coursing throughout his back, Kaido tried to get up once more, when Janus suddenly stepped on his head, and continue stomping him non-stop, causing his head to bleed from the shock and his head kept knocking down on the floor.
Realizing that Janus was suppressing him to the point that he can't fight back using speed attacks, Kaido then increased the range of his barrier from his skin towards a few inches from his body, making the stomps non-effective as they can be. Of course even though he had done this, Kaido was sure that Janus have the ability to bypass his barrier, which made him to quickly think up a counter plan, and used an air punch which literally blew back Janus.
Squarely hitting his guts, Janus almost puked as he landed on his feet, and he his stomach, from the pain that is ringing in his guts. However this slight opening he had made when he felt the pressure from the punch literary destroyed his guts, Kaido then quickly followed up his attack, and punched him to the face, before he got hit on the side crushing his kidney, hit on the chest which cracked his ribs, punched on his guts causing him to lean forward, and kneed on the face, the moment he leaned towards the front. Despite that armor he had out all iver his body, Kaido's punch literally shook him out, which even shocked Janus.
However despite that violent combo, Janus stayed on his toes, never falling down, as he pulled out a spike from his wrist and thrust it forward like a sword. Due to thus Kaido suddenly pulled his head to the side, just in time for the spike to barely graze his cheek, before countering back with a swing which shooked Janus brain.
But despite that, Janus rejects falling down, as he swung the spike, which forced Kaido to duck down, before pulling out a spike at the size of a toothpick and shoot it out towards Kaido's shoulder, causing his balance to break as he felt like he got shot from an object which has the force similar to a gunshot.
But ignoring the pain, Kaido threw out three piece of rocks into the air, as he rolled them with momentum and friction, before shooting them out like a bullet, causing Janus to be blown away from the force of the gum like attack. The only difference here is that three rocks succefully hit Janus, which is similar to getting succesfully shot three times. With that Janus couldn't help but glare at Kaido.
