[Proto Earth]
The glare between them is so severe as Janus could not help but be aggreviated by how much Kaido persist on not dying at all. If only Kaido died without fighting back, they wouldn't be in this situation. But since beggars can't be choosers, he has no right to complain at all and just follow what was originally planned. No matter what he needed to kill Kaido in this given encounter.
Unfortunately for Janus, Kaido has no intention of allowing him to retaliate immediately, so the moment he tried to take one step forward, Kaido then suddenly sent in a huge torrent of wind dropping from above, as it smacked Janus hard down to the cement ground, before its force literally destroyed the platform, causing the whole station to be destroyed and collapse under one powerful down wind.
Taking note that the train station platform is at the top of a twelve 29 meter tall supporting columns, so with a powerful downwind which literally feels like gravity, half of the columns were destroyed, which caused its collapse and everything falling to disarray.
Not expecting Kaido to destroy the station, Janus fell to the to bottom of the station, as debris fell on top of him, forcing him to harden and grow his spikes and used it as deterrent to all the nearby falling objects. After doing that, he also used his own spikes on his back to grow thicker and durable, as he used it as a cushion for him to safely land on the ground, despite falling hard on the rock surface.
However Kaido already knew that this wasn't enough to cripple Janus at all and make him unable to fight, so without waiting for him to fall completely on the ground, he then flipped his whole body to a straight up 90 degrees facing down, as he created a wind platform right below his feet, and used it to propel himself forward in an attempt to quickly subdue Janus.
Unfortunately Janus senses warned him of the incoming danger, as he quickly looked at the direction of the danger itself and instinctively dodged the sudden lounge. But simply dodging that lounged wasn't enough to make him come out unscathed.
Apparently right as Kaido lounge towards Janus, he somehow enhanced his nails to become sharp and deadly by manipulating the matter on his nails and forcefully growing them into sharp claws. Due to that, a wound appear on Janus cheeks, as blood flowed out from it, the moment Kaido had slashed it with its own nails.
But that didn't end there, the moment Kaido fully crash landed on the ground, he quickly turned around to face Janus behind him, as he gripped his hand into a fist and swing out a straight punch towards his face.
However in that moment when Kaido's punch was about to hit Janus, a space cracked in beside them, as Tomas suddenly came out from this crack and directly straight out punched Kaido with a powerful force which sent him flying across the air and crash towards the nearest building and putting a hole on its structure.
"That was a close call Janus, I can't believe you were almost done in by that amateur attack" said by Tomas
"I wasn't, I was prepared for that and was planning to defend myself, if you hadn't interfered I could have killed him there with surprise attack" retorted by Janus
"That wasn't what it looks like to us Janus, for us, it looks like you were slowly being suppressed into a corner, if we hadn't intervened, you would have been the one done in like that" Pointed out by Madrigal as she walks out of the cracked space
"She's right! Unlike you, we can clearly see who was the one in the advantage by simply observing from the side... you were losing" supported by Lucian as he appeared from the cracked space
"Thats not possible" Denied by Janus
"It is! No matter how you twist it, the target is fully prepared to face you" said by Ekaterina as she lastly stepped out from the cracked space that she was hiding on
"You should remember that the target is a highly dangerous person which is classified as s-rank difficulty mission and for such difficulty, completing it alone would not be enough to accomplish the mission" said by Madrigal
"His a whole new scale of danger"
As the whole mercenary squad appeared and surrounded the area where Kaido crashed, the person himself slowly stood up as he now understood on how Janus was able to hide his own teammates from him.
Apparently with Janus esper ability of imaginary manipulation, he could tear a hole in space by just imagining himself of capable of such feat. With his esper ability which is only second to reality manipulation, Janus is near omnipotent as he could literally do anything within the scope of his imagination.
Based on where he hid his teammates, Kaido guessed that he must make the. Hide within the isolated dimension completely separate from the laws of this world. An isolated dimension generally refers to a concept in physics and cosmology where a spatial or temporal dimension exists separately from the others, not interacting or intersecting with them in the usual manner.
In theoretical physics, especially in string theory and higher-dimensional theories, dimensions beyond the familiar three spatial and one temporal are proposed. An isolated dimension in this context might be a higher-dimensional space that does not interact with our observable universe. These dimensions are often compactified or hidden at scales much smaller than can currently be observed.
String theory posits that the fundamental constituents of the universe are not point particles but one-dimensional "strings." These strings can vibrate at different frequencies, giving rise to different particles. String theory requires additional spatial dimensions for mathematical consistency-typically 10 or 11 dimensions in total.
Some dimensions are hypothesized to be compactified, meaning they are curled up into very small shapes, such as Calabi-Yau manifolds, and are not observable at macroscopic scales. These compactified dimensions are isolated from our everyday experience because they are too small to detect.
Through this dimensions he had hidden his teammates until the opportune time, make note that within this dimensions, time does not exist so an appropriate calculation is needed in order to successfully utilize this dimensions as a way to catch off enemy by surprise. But with Janus esper ability, utilizing this dimension became much easier to control than before.
"You trash piece of shits... I finally have all of you in one place"
Upon seeing that Kaido was still talking shit directly at their face, Tomas who had the shortest temper among the group then suddenly charged towards him, stretched out his arm, forming a fist, and throws in a straight heavy impact punch right directly at Kaido. However before his fist could even hit the target himself, someone suddenly intervened in a blink of an eye, as it literally blocked his attack, before countering back with a straight gut punch which sent Tomas back by a few blocks.
"Guh! What's this? Who are you?"
As Tomas angrily shouted those words, he then glared at the woman right in front of him, as Aileen stood proudly while defending Kaido himself.
"I had let you deal with that spiky enemy since he's your prey, but that can't be the same for this other guys right? You've got to leave some room for us to intervene"
The moment Aileen said those words, Belial, Fengris, and Argos then came out to surround the whole group of Janus, causing the latter group to realize that Kaido had brought his own team to deal with them. Of course this literally shocked the whole mercemary group since all they know was Kaido works alone and has no particular group to back him up.
What's more, the number of their group are clearly equal to their group. This was literally above their pay grade, they were paid to either apprehend or kill Kaido, there was nothing about other people getting involved in this operation. But despite the sudden changes, there was clearly no shocked expression nor surprised reaction coming from them, it was as if they expected this to happen.
In their line of work, there are many circumstance where things doesn't actually go the way they want, it's either more than necessary people were involved, hostage taking, death threats, whole organization ganging up on them and etc. However despite all the dangers they've faced, they always comes out on top due to one sole reason, and that is they know how to synchronize their teamwork. What's more Janus esper ability is pretty useful in this situation, after all with him there, he could just imagine them as strong as he can make them. They have no limits.
"You've called your own group of ragtags? Never expected that a group fight would happen here" said by Lucian
"Its always like this" said by Ekaterina
"Aren't they're people equal numbers on us? Is this a 1v1?" Asked by Madrigal
"So a group fight... I don't care who comes after me, ill crush you all" grinned by Tomas
"Another group eh... as much as I applaud that you made a group to counter our numbers, I hate to break it to you but... you should've brought more if you want to kill us" said by Janus as he begun to use his esper ability to everyone in his group.
Not long after by using his Janus esper ability Imaginary manipulation, he had imagined all of them to be a God like being, causing all of them to suddenly surge in power which brought their level closer to that of a gods in myths. Upon seeing this, everyone in Kaido's group seemed ecstatic at this powering up, causing them all to reveal some smiles beneath their intentions.
"Holy crap! And here I thought we would have to hold back, I didn't expect for them to suddenly grow stronger equivalent to a divine being... this will be fun" said by Fengris
"Your right! Ever since we've become Calamity class beings, we always had to hold back our powers to not kill anyone, at last I can go all out" said by Argos
"Fighting an enemy equivalent to a divine being, what an honor" said by Belial as he seemed expectant to test his skills
"Oh my! Now this will be interesting" commented by Aileen
Seeing that his own group is getting excited when Janus group suddenly become stronger to a whole new level because of his esper ability being active, Kaido then brought them back to reality as he can't afford for all of them to make a mess in this world especially since this world is heavily protected by something called the system.
Despite staying here for quite a long time, Kaido still couldn't grasp just what this system is, how strong is it, nor its capabilities... but since it's can control the space, give out abilities, and even make the players stronger through experience farming, he conclude that the systems capabilities is closer to an omnipotent being.
He felt that the only reason why the system haven't gone and get rid of them who entered its domain like a parasitic virus, was because they haven't caused a commotion big enough to warranty the system's attention.
Of his guess was right and this world is indeed being protected by the system, then the only thing that could make the system react is whether a huge number of people die in a certain area or the existence of its people are being treated. No matter what, as long as he couldn't figure out the system's full capability, he can't afford to have his group cause a mess of stuff which could potentially endanger him.
"You guys... you still should really hold back on your power, there are people living in this city, we can't just kill them by mistake"
"But that will be hard" Complained by Fengris
"You guys won't understand, just do as I say"
As kaido nonchalantly talks to his group in order to actually not destroy the city into smithereens in their fights, he then asked them to hold back themselves, since all of them going all out could potentially endanger this world. That was the number one rule that each Calamity class beings stamp to heart permanently. After all they are still living in this world, so if they benefit from the world, why would they destroy it? It would only sound hypocritical.
In this limitations, Kaido is prohibited to use matter pertaining to levels above nuclear matter such as Strange matter, dark matter, and anti matter(Still in learning stage). As for Aileen she is prohibited to go to her adult form which could potentially unlocks her prime state and literally turn this whole world into her own domain. For Argos he is prohibited to turn into his true dragon form which is so big and has a firepower to destroy anything in just one breath. For Fengris, he is prohibited to activate his bloodline which makes him closer to the myth and legendary Fenrir. Lastly for Belial, he is prohibited to use world class magic.
However not knowing the deep meaning within Kaido's words, Janus and his group treated his words as insult as they felt like they were being underestimated despite having a godlike boost from Janus esper ability.
In that moment in a fit of rage Tomas quickly rushed forward in a charge, as Janus assisted him by instantly teleporting him infront of Kaido and Aileen, while Ekaterina supported by Using her matter alteration to make Tomas look bigger and stronger than he originally is.
Due to that Aileen was tackled by Tomas, as she got dragged by him and crash towards the building behind Kaido, followed by multiple crashing sounds. Reacting to that sudden surprise attack, Kaido then turned around in order to aid Aileen, only to get chained by the waist by Janus and get thrown over towards the pile of rubbles under the now destroyed railway track.
After that series of attacks happened, Belial hand suddenly transformed into its combat sharp claws, as his demons wings flapped open, before charging in towards Janus in breaking speed. However Janus suddenly slowed the time around his radius, allowing both Lucian and Ekaterina to intercept him with their own respective weapons. After both of them intercepted Belial followed by pinning him in two sides, Janus then suddenly blast out a smokescreen in his area, causing it hard for anyone outside the smokescreen to even see what was happening inside. However one thing is for sure, is that Belial is currently fighting a 3v1 inside the smokescreen.
On the otherhand when Kaido recovered from that crash, Madrigal suddenly appeared behind him like a shadow as she used her own razor knife to swing it directly towards Kaido's head. Unfortunately Kaido was quick to react as he quickly ducked down to avoid the attack, followed by a counter by blasting a huge torrent of flames towards Madrigal's direction.
Sadly his attack did little to nothing, as Madrigal simply phased through his attack, before attacking with another attempt of cross slash. With that in a fit of sudden shock from her ability, Kaido was late to deploy his psychic barrier, causing his arms to be crossed slashed and blood spilled all over the floor. Thankfully the cut wasn't that deep as he managed to maintain his arms before pulling back and regenerating his arms back to normal.
In that moment while Madrigal was smiling at the sight of Kaido's blood on her razor knife, a shadow suddenly descended on top of her, as Argos came crashing down only to realize that he had missed and only was able to hit the ground.
"Damn it! Stay sharp Kaido! If you loose even a ment of concentration, she may be able to kill you in an opportune time"
"Don't worry! I was just shocked to see her phase through my attack.... phasing through objects... that ability will be pretty annoying, she's almost as if untouchable"

There might be specific materials or conditions that prevent phasing, such as certain types of energy fields or magical wards. However as far as anyone knows no one among Kaido's group has such things that can counter phasing.
"This will be annoying" grumbled by Kaido

Meanwhile inside a specific building, Tomas is laughing his heart out, as he watches Aileen slowly recovering from that sudden surprise attack.
"Ahahaha! You got the nerve to underestimate us just like that, and this is all you can do? Pathetic! This is why I hate fighting women... they are weak"
Hearing that Aileen gave out a smug look as she brushed away her disheveled hair, while cracking her neck to loosen some bones.
"If that's the case then perhaps this will be the first time a woman will beat your ass up"
Countering insult with another insult, Tomas smiled hysterically as he stance himself before charging forward while saying.
"That's it you bitch! Your dead!"
"Come here you lump of meat!"
With two people hyped up for battle, both charged towards one another at the same time, as their fight started inside the building where they got dragged into.
