He entered the palace and walked through the grand hall, his eyes sharp as he looked around. Voices caught his attention, coming from a nearby room.
He approached quietly, recognizing the voices of Sect Leader Feng and his wife, Ming Yue.
Xuan stopped just outside the doorway, his figure hidden in the shadows as he listened.
Ming Yue sighing said: "I understand the importance, but leaving the sect and traveling to the central region is a serious decision. There are many responsibilities here."
Sect Leader Feng: "True, but this alliance with the Yun family will strengthen our position. The engagement between Yuxin and Yun Tianhai is a part of this alliance. It's something we can't afford to lose."
