Chapter 1 - Ep. 1 -A new school, A new start

*7:12 AM*

You Itched with annoyance as soon as you heard the alarm clock started ringing and buzzing for you to awake, you stretched out your slandered arm and struggled to click the stop button.

"Ellie!" You heard you mom's voice echoed over the loud ring of the alarm. You then aggressively punched it and the noise suddenly stopped.

"Thank you." You sighed and sinked back down into your pillow, thinking about that weird dream you had just before the alarm woke you up.

It was strange, you've had weird dreams before this, but this time it was different, lately you've been beginning to notice that your dreams have gotten a lot stranger and a lot more intense since you turned 18 a few months ago.

"Ellie are you awake?" You head your mom's voice again, it sounded as if she was coming up stairs to check on you.

"I'm up mom, I'll be down in a bit." You yelled, hoping that she would stop and turn back around.

"Well ok, just hurry up, you'll be late for school."

"Ahhhh." You groaned at the thought of going to a new school, believe it or not you actually forgot that you got transferred, it's hard to believe that you forgot since you moved to another country.

Background story

—————————

Ellie O'kyle- 18 yrs old

Born- Newark New Jersey, America

No siblings, single mother

Moved to Seoul, South Korea just after her 18th Bday.

.......................

At least it's your senior year, you thought to yourself, few more months and you'll be at college. Just the mere thought of getting out of high school gave you the courage to stumble out of bed, you hopped in the shower quickly got dressed in your school uniform. You didn't want to mess it up since it's the only one you had, your mom couldn't afford to by another pair since money is a bit tight right now.

After getting dressed and throwing on some simple and natural makeup, you headed downstairs.

"There you are," your mother sighed and shoved a bag into your hand and said, "you can eat it in the car, we have to go, I'll drop you off since you're already late."

*8:36* AM

You were now heading to the principal's office to pick up your school schedule when your mom called you and told you that you forgot your name tag that was supposed to be attached to your uniform. You knew how strict the schools are here in Korea, so you were already freaking out and you haven't even started yet.

"Excuse me, ma'am ," you spoke softly and politely to the principal who sat firmly at her desk in a formal and straight position.

"Yes?" Her voice was strict and steady, you can already tell that she's not the person to let things off easily. "I forgot my name tag at home, may I ask my mom if she could bring it here for me?"

You tried to smile, but it quickly faded away once your question ended, her eyes Pierced into yours, never breaking contact.

"Today is your first day and you have already arrived late. Now you want a pass for forgetting your name tag? Which is requirable for this school, Miss O'kyle."

"Yes, Ma'am." You said while avoiding eye contact, "I understand."

She only looked away with a formal gaze, "I'll let it go." You smiled brightly and jumped at what she said, she looked up at you as if she was silently judging you, but you didn't care, you were too happy that you wouldn't get I trouble on your first day of school."

"Thank you Miss Roi, it won't happen again." You cheerfully told her as she handed you your class schedule.

You walked around looking for your first period class that you're late for and has already began. You came to a door that is much like the other classroom doors in the building, on the wall it said 4-1, you were told that this was the class for the smartest students in the senior class. You wondered why they put you in it since you had so many test missing because you moved around a lot.

You shrugged gripped onto the lock and pushed the door open. When you entered it was like a electrical shock went through the room, everyone turned their heads in your direction, eyes stabbing your soul and gossiping about who you were. You were used to it, since you've been to what seems like a thousand schools already.

When you handed your schedule to the teacher he nodded and told you to have a seat.

There was only two seats left in the class and next to each other, it wasn't bad since it was next to the window.

As you walked you could feel the gossiping and laughing and staring hit you from all counters of the room, once you reached your seat the door swung open, not too hard but not subtle either. You didn't even get a chance to sit down, as soon as the door opened everyone in the class stood up, girls clutching their hearts and covering their smiles, guys gasping and staring so proudly at whoever it was that stood in the doorway. For a second there you thought it was mandatory for the student to stand when someone came in the class room but then you remembered no one stood for you.

You snickered and thought how you were overreacting for no reason, you sat comfortably at the seat right by the window and tried to see the person that everyone was is so mesmerized about.

You could barely see anything, the student formed a huge ass crowd and blocked your view of the front of the class.

"Ok take you seats everyone." The teacher finally said, "we'll continue our lesson."

Everyone groaned in disappointment and did as the teacher said, since there was o my one seat next to you, you then realized that whoever that person is would have to sit next to you.

Hopefully they're nice, you thought to yourself as you smiled and looked out the window.

"Woaw." You heard everyone said, you turned your head in to see a tall slim figured guy walking towards you, he had on the school uniform that hugged him perfectly, his hair was pink at the top and black at the back, which was weird since you were told that the students weren't allowed to dye their hair.

He smiled kindly at the other students, and nodded to those who waved to him. You could see deep dimples forming each time he made a gesture at smiling. You couldn't help but stare like the others.

He looked perfectly sculpted, though he had smile eyes, if suited him perfectly to go with his charming smile.

"Who is this guy?"
