Akari's POV
*A few hours before*
"Damn It! I can't believe that I messed up a lot this time."
I grit my teeth as I'm holding to my bleeding shoulder.
"Damn It!! I can't stop the bleeding..." I curse under my breath. My eyes have started to become blurry and I can't hold my panting anymore.
I lean to the nearest tree to take a short break.
"I can't stop for too long... They might catch up with me..." I clench my teeth when I remember how I make a really big mistake.
"I shouldn't have tried to help that person." I bit my lips as I force myself to open my eyes. I glare at the path before me. "I need to move..."
I jog to I don't know where but, as long I can run as far as I can, it will be fine. I can't get myself to become their slave.
"Not to him, not to anyone..." I look straight with strong resolve in my heart. "I will not stop fighting for freedom even if it kills me."
I don't know how long I walked but, as long I can go as far that I can get, that will be the best.
I walked the whole night and only stopped to tend to my wound and to take a few breaths. Still, I continue to walk without delay right after I catch my breath.
After many hours of struggle, I see a small abandoned-looking shack.
My eyes filled with hope as I speed up my pace. "I hope there are things I can use to properly take care of my injuries." There are a lot of bushes behind the shack.
I struggle a lot to walk past the bushes as some of the branches keep poking at my wound and some thorns scratched my skin.
I still pushed forward until I reach an unexpectedly clean area, unlike the back of the shack.
"It's like, someone is staying here..." The thought makes me scared. "What if they are dangerous..." I look up to the ground only to have my guess become true.
I take a few steps back slowly when I see a human figure and a werewolf standing side by side.
The wolf has a size bigger than a normal wolf. 'It's like the one who bit me...' I can't help but curse under my breath.
'The human, or maybe another werewolf walks towards me.' She Is wearing a black shirt that shows her muscles line. 'She's not someone that should mess with.'
I want to run again, but, I don't have any more spare energy. I can't go on anymore. I desperately looking for a chance to run away, I feel like crying, begging for mercy, or anything that can let them spare me but, I'm not doing it in the end.
"I feel like giving up..." With that thought, I feel like my last strong of sanity broke. My vision becomes blurry before turning pitch black and I hit the ground just like that.

Viollete's Pov
"To think that this is the way I will meet the heroine..." I mumble while holding my chin. In my thoughts, I keep remembering the curse of a lone wolf.
'I think I might misunderstand the real meaning behind the curse of the lone wolf before.' I stare at the heroine, or should I call Akari, on the bed.
I've already dealt with the wound on her body. Luckily, she's not poisoned like Rei. I don't think I can handle another big baby.
Right when I think about it, a young splash sound comes right behind me.
With a sigh, I look behind me to see that Rei is playing inside the bathtub. I look at her with raised eyebrows and crossed arms.
Right in front of me, Rei snickered when looking at my face. Then, at that moment, she gets out of the tub and jumps into the tub again.
This time, the water splashed harder and hit my face.
"...." I stare at the stupid big baby playing inside the water with that stupid looking smile.
"Rei..." With a deep voice as I'm trying to hold my anger, "Stop..." I warn.
"Auuu..." Rei pout at me before diving slowly into the water and creating bubbles with her mouth.
After Rei stop making trouble, I put back my focus on Akari.
Akari has dark blue hair that almost looks black. She has a sharp-looking face that makes her look like she's frowning despite not doing anything. Her hair is short. Seems like an undercut pixie. In addition, if I compare her body stature to mine, she is probably only shorter by an inch.
'No matter how I look at it, the female lead in this world is close to the masculine side, unlike the previous world where Caroline is on the cute side.'
'Anyway, sooner or later, she will turn into a werewolf. I can use this chance to get her to help me. In exchange for Rei's blood, I want her to work for me.'
I snickered. I feel my eyes are filled with a mischievous glint. 'Sorry, Rei, Akari, but I need to use both of your roles in this world as much as possible to create better opportunities.'
After a few seconds of laughing only then did I realise that Rei is looking at me weirdly.
I scratch the back of my head lightly and look away. 'She must have seen me laughing like a psychopath.'
I cough lightly before cleaning up all the things I used to clean up and dealing with Akari's injuries. I put it on the wooden table that has been here since we first came.
After that, I walk toward Rei to pull her out of the bath.
"That's it... Stop playing...." I pull on her lightly.
Rei is obedient if I signal for her to follow my direction. Despite her playful nature, at least it's not that troublesome.
"Aoo..." She howls in a soft voice. It seems like she still wants to play.
I give her the look before she obeys me. Of course, she pouts. I want to flick her forehead again. But, I holding on for now as I don't want to coax her again and again.
After she gets out of the tub, I give her a clean towel to wipe her body. As she wipes her body, I can't help but appreciate her muscle.
I'm not trying to be a pervert here, but, I kind of jealous of someone with a great body like her. My body is always on the lean side. So, seeing someone with an amazing body like Rei makes me want to appreciate this moment.
[She got a nice body...]
'Huh? Do you think the same?' I was stunned to hear a compliment from Ball.
[It's my dream body.]
"..." I guess it's because the ball doesn't have a body. I light up a candle of sympathy in my head for the ball.
[I don't need your sympathy.] The ball suddenly retorts.
I rolled my eyes before ignoring the ball again.
Anyway, after Rei finished wiping her whole body dry, I give her cloak back. The cloak is pretty heavy in my hand as the fur on the cloak is thick from top to bottom. I'm amazed by the quality and the fact that Rei wears it all the time.
I help Rei wear the cloak and button it up for her. Or else, the cloak will fall and she will walk around the forest butt naked.
Right after I put on the last button, I hear a groan from behind me. I look behind to see that Akari is about to wake up.
From my experience with Rei, I choose to stand far away from her in case she will suddenly attack me. Of course, I prepared a chain early to bound one of her legs to the bed.
I don't know how long it will take for a person to turn into a werewolf, so I better prepare for any unexpected situation early.
After a few seconds, I see that Akari has started to open her eyes. She opens her eyes slowly and looks confused for a few seconds.
"How are you feeling?" I speak first.
When she heard my voice, her eyes widen and she quickly tried to get up. But, in return, she holds her shoulder and can't help but snort in pain.
"Fuck!!" She cursed in low voice, but I still hear it.
"Don't move, your injuries are not healed yet." I remind her which got her attention. She looks at me with suspicion. "Your wounds are deep, especially on your shoulder." I point at my shoulder to sign for her to be careful around the shoulder part.
"W..who...*cough!!*"
Akari coughed while holding her neck.
I look at her with raised brows before walking toward her. At the same time, I also bring her a glass of water to drink.
When I hold it up close in front of her face, Akari stares at the glass of water. She takes it from my palm slowly and continues to stare at it.
After a few seconds of staring at the glass, Akari throws the glass at me.
I moved my head to the side calmly while looking at Akari with a frown. She then jumped toward me but I just moved a few steps behind and Akari slammed to the floor.
"Huh... Luckily, I chained you first." I scoff before continuing to mock her. " You think with your condition, you can fight me, your Saviour?"
She is still on the floor, groaning in pain and struggling to get up.
I squat near her body and reach my hand towards her head. Within a second, I yank her head by pulling on her hair, forcing her to look me in the eyes.
"Gah!!" She yelps in pain and shut both of her eyes, before finally looking at me with one eye open. Her face scrunched and she gritted her teeth.
"Do you know how stupid you are just now..." I mock her in deep tones with no expression. Akari glares at me and tries to grip my hand. Of course, I don't let her do whatever useless things she ever planned to do.
"You never learn huh..." I sigh in disappointment. Out of her vision, I have already prepared another chain to cuff both of her hands behind her back.
I let go of her hair and her face slammed to the floor. Right after that, I grabbed both of her hands by force and chained them together.
"Fu...ck. You..." She whispered another curse word to me while glaring at me with her side face. She can't completely turn her head to look at me as I'm already standing up.
"..." I stare at her with no expression. "Seriously..." I scoff again before stepping on the side of her face. I just put it lightly as I know, with my ability, I can completely crush her head. I only press her side face to humiliate her rather than create injuries.
Then I bend down my body so I'm more close to her rather than just standing straight. "Do you know who I am..." I ask in a deep voice."
"Kkuh..." Akari struggles to talk as my leg is pressing on her side face. Added with her not having energy, she probably cannot fight and struggle anymore.
'But, why should I care...' I take away my leg from her face. There's some dirt stuck on her face because of my boots. Then I pull her by the neck and push her towards the bed again.
Her back slammed toward the wall and she snort in pain again. Her head hangs weakly for a few minutes and I see that she is controlling her breathing. After that, she slowly looks up at me with annoyance.
I walk closer to her and pinch her face by the chin.
"What's with that look?" I squeezed her mouth is a little too tight so she is forced to open her mouth widely. Akari glares at me and tries to struggle, but I forced her head to lean on the wall with my hand.
Then, I pick up another glass of water. I'm sure she won't realise that this glass appears out of the systems space.
Akari is still glaring at me but this time, there is a hint of panic in her eyes.
I don't bother to be light on her like I did with Rei.
'I'm the type to get triggered when someone I helped out of goodwill decides to be stupid and attack me no matter what reason.' I stated in my head. 'It's not just stupid, to me, no matter where and with who, we should observe our surroundings before making any judgement.'
'But...' I stare at Akari who is still locked in a position where her mouth is forced to open by me. 'She makes such a stupid judgement so, I will teach her a few lessons.'
I shove the water into her mouth.
I watch as Akari gagged on the water and tried to cough it out.
"Huh... Stop fighting..." I raise her face a little bit higher and shove the water again. "Just fucking drink it! There is no poison!!!!" I shout at her in annoyance.
After a few minutes of forcing her to drink, I stare at her gasping for air while lying tiredly on the wet bed.
Only when looking at her that seems to pass out again, that I realised,
'Oh shit... Did I go too far?' I questioned myself with a frown.
[You got a talent for this...] The ball voice breaks me out of my trance.
I look back to see Rei staring at me with an incomprehensible expression.
"..." I wonder if I'm a bad example to this big baby?
At this moment, no one even Viollet knows that something has awoken inside Rei, including Rei herself.
