Her mood was going downhill, and so she walked around letting her feet take her to wherever they wanted to take her. In the end, she ended back at the barrier. She let out a heavy sigh and crawled over the barrier. Was I really that awkward? If I made them uncomfortable then why did they even come close to me. I could try to talk to them. It won't work out, I wouldn't have the nerves to go up to them and even say hello. The negative thoughts filled her mind once again and she wasn't sure if her safe haven would cheer her up. She walked closer to the center without paying much attention, and she soon stopped in her tracks when she saw someone sleeping next to the trunk. The tulip had the gold flakes around it once again. She looked at the sleeping figure again. No one else knew about this place so why was he there. Rune carefully moved to the other side of the trunk to see his face but she soon felt the warm damp grass on her face and her drink was now all over the figure. "Ouch." She whispered as she spat out some of the grass that was in her mouth. She carefully got up not knowing that the figure was now awake. When she got up she was facing the opposite direction so she slowly turned around to see him. He was just sitting there with his once dry shirt now soaked with her raspberry lemonade. The ice had made its way to his pants, the ice was slowly melting making it seem that he had peed himself. Rune did not know what to say or what to do, she had never seen him before. "Who are you, and how do you know this place?" a smirk appeared on his face as if Rune had no business knowing that this place existed. "I could ask you the same thing?" Rune was left in shock, all she knew was that she was the only one that knew of this place. Rune had came to this place for twelve years now. Not once has she seen him in this place. She looked towards his direction she now knoticed that he was standing up and no longer laying down. "If you know so much about this, then what does the tulip mean and why is it all alone?" Another smirk appeared on his face and he slowly walked towards Rune. Rude did not want him to know that she felt intimidated byt his deep piercing brown eyes staring her down. "Answer my question." "You sure want to know a lot just because you discovered this place? He added quotations around discovered. Rune let out a scoff and rolled her eyes at his comment. "You didn't answer my question once again jerk." "This jerk has a name you know." He said pointing to himself. His shirt was now sticking to his well built body and his pants were still wet. Rune couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "And this girl does not care. All I care about it how you know this place and what it is?" "Well I don't know anything about this place." Once again Rune scoffed and fell into defeat. "I don't have time for this I'm going home and if I see you here tomorrow then you better tell me all you know about this place." Rune picks up her empty cup and walks away from the center heading towards the barrier. "Caspian." Rune turns around and looks into his eyes one last time today. "Rune." And with that she took her journey back to her home.
