Joe was then brought to the kingdom's grand hall, where all the festivities of the kingdom is held. The hall was as big as a soccer field with musicians playing merry songs with their instruments and ladies in silhouette white and red dress dancing in the middle of the hall.
Due to Joe's unique ability (Gamer's body), Joe had to meet everyone personally to know their data. First he met was the king…
Joe and his attendant walked right in front of the king…
Attendant: Your highness, may I present to you, the hero who saved Albarez from the brink of destruction, Sir Joe Jackson. (bowing while both hands pointing to Joe…)
Joe simply smiled and nodded a little…
In other circumstances, Joe's reaction may have brought him to be seized and beheaded. It may be viewed as being disrespectful not to bow in front of his majesty. But as Joe is their savior, theygave him some face and thought to give him advice on proper respect later on…
Joe: It is an honor to meet your majesty….
King Alfred II: (Pleased with the words from a stranger who saved his kingdom… the king nodded…)
Such encounter was enough to activate Joe's ability.
Dingggg!!!!!!
Joe: Hoh….
As Joe looked at the popped status window, he saw…
King Alfred II
Status: Noble
Lore:
King of Albarez Kingdom. The son of Alfred I, who once ruled El Grande. After the fall of El Grande, Albarez was founded as kingdom, a remnant of the previous, and was then struggling to find his footing for revenge. "Be wary, scars of past pain in Evergreen carves their hearts. To quench is for blood to splatter in their hands."
Joe was intrigued by what he read. Looking at the king and how he communicates with his people, there is no shed of animosity and domineering presence. All he saw was a meek king who humbly receives his people, with less regards to nobility. Truly opposite with the lore….
Joe: Is their something wrong with my ability? (Joe thought to himself)
King Alfred II: Today, let me make a toast to the one who have shed light to our kingdom! In the face of annihilation, we thank our savior, the hero of Albarez, Sir Joe Jackson! Long live the hero! Long live the kingdom of Albarez!
People: Long live!!!!! Hail to the kingdom!!!!
After the toast, a merry celebration was held and food and wine were offered to all. Joe was happy and received the gifts of the people who were feeling thankful to their hero. After the celebration, Joe was given the following as gifts from the noble and the king himself:
1. A piece of land that produces high quality wine
2. A total of 20,000 gild coins
3. 40,000 silver coins
4. Golden sword from the fallen El Grande
5. And a title, Hero of the Land
Ding!!!!!!!
Status window: Congratulations! You are now called "Hero of the Land". The title grants you influence of 30% noble and 60% public.
Eventually, Joe found out that the title granted him influence and fame towards the people of Albarez. Higher influence means better relation with the people. Of course, it is harder to increase the influence towards the noble, but the issue with the common people is that, the fame retention is weak.
Joe: Sign…. The common people are just like the ones on earth. They easily give you fame for your achievements but… when there are no news about you, they eventually forget.
(Joe was looking at his status window where the influence rating fell from 60% public to 40% in just a month. Meanwhile, his influence among the noble after a month of meeting them and demonstrating his fire power rose from 30% to 60%.)
After careful analysing the people of the kingdom, Joe came to a conclusion that he was dropped in a kingdom who fell from power. El Grande was once a proud empire which is now divided into 4 kingdoms. Due to the ill-mannered nobles and former King, Alfred I, the empire collapsed and eventually formed into four separate kingdoms :
Albarez
* the remnant of the ill-mannered nobles and the families of the royal guards. They were thrown into the farthest corner of the kingdom with no other resources other than the sea. No minerals to mine, and with a thick forest full of wild beasts that prey on the people.
Malaka
* the kingdom who attacked Albarez when Joe came to Evergreen. It is also nearest to Albarez aside from Kingdom Althea. The people who live here were also nobles who plotted the fall of the empire with the other two kingdoms. They chose to stay near to Albarez to torment the son of Alfred I, and to ensure that they don't grow in power.
Althea
* They were neutral during the war of the empire. But because they don't wish to be ruled by the two opposing forces, they made their own.
Grande El Marz
* The biggest of four broken piece of kingdom. Ruled by the mighty nobles known as El Marz, they are the main powerhouse who overthrew the previous empire.
Joe: Sigh… I cant believe this… this kingdom…. The people here… they all have the same lore at the end… They are….all….wicked by heart….
Everyone's end statement on their lore:
"Be wary, scars of past pain in Evergreen carves their hearts. To quench is for blood to splatter in their hands."
The people of Albarez all seek in their hearts for revenge. The only reason they are unable to is because they were constantly suppressed by the other kingdoms. They have developed animosity that reeks when an opportunity comes forth. Thus, with Joe Jackson, their hero, having shown his power, they were all waiting patiently as to how in unfolds…
At the birthday celebration of King Alfred II's daughter, Alice, Joe Jackson stood forward to make an announcement.
Joe: My king, let me make an anoouncement…
King Alfred II: Hoh… Regarding what could this be hero?
Joe: The future… of this kingdom.
Badump! Badump!
The heartbeats of the people suddenly grew louder and louder…
The king suddenly formed a slip snake-like eyes….
King Alfred II: Speak…
Joe: I wish to have your support… (Let me be the villain of this story). Let me rally our kingdom and bring the El Grande higher than its former glory.
The eyes of the people swelled in tears… with bitter cry and a thin smile they formed and look at each other…. "finally… a chance to get back to those bastards!"
Waaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For El Grande!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
