Chapter 17 - Behind the Output (1)

The morning came at a blink of the eye. Sharmaine's room felt cold overall, the windows provided little warmth and daylight from the sun. She rose from her bed, squinting her eyes and realizing that today was the day.

She grunted at the thought that she has to put bandages again, but what could she do about it? If she weren't blessed with a big chest, her life would have been easier—then again, she never thought in her whole life that she will be disguising as a man to work for a man.

She headed to the bathroom and did her morning preparations: wash her face, brush her teeth, apply a bit of cream, and lastly, take a warm shower. After that, she ran out of her room naked as she looked for her towel.

Good thing her hair does not need a bit of work. If ever, she was grateful that she cut her hair this short as there was no need to style it and spend the whole morning with a curling iron. The dresser near her wardrobe contained a hefty amount of the same brand of bandages she would always use around her chest.

Suits and various work attires filled her wardrobe and not one of those attires were for women. She picked a dark blue suit and the traditional white polo. A patterned necktie and a trendy watch completed her look as she applied a bit of wax onto her hair.

When she walked out, she was greeted by the presence of a manly man wearing an elegant suit. "Denzel, where are we off to?" Sharmaine asked as they headed downstairs. "To Silverfox Boutique."

Her eyes widened. Silverfox Boutique was that shop that sold extremely expensive hand-made clothing. She tried to contain her excitement as she would be honored to be dressed by such great designers.

The Silverfox Boutique was roughly 20 kilometers away from Denzel's house, so it was a very boring and long ride on the way.

"What about work?" Sharmaine asked to break the silent atmosphere inside the car.

Denzel glanced at her. "No need to worry about such things. All you have to do is to think about the act you'll be performing later."

She paused and dared to not speak back. He was right; all she needed to do was exaggerate her lady skills to the world.

After a few moments, the car stopped in front of a shop. It was small but reasonably spacious; The outside was screaming simplistic elegance with the black walls and white accents and a huge glass pane that displayed luxury items on stools and mannequins. Upon entering, the place seemed like a very poshed version of a five-star hotel lobby, and it felt like Sharmaine just walked into a room filled with diamonds and rubies.

A man greeted and welcomed them inside. He led them in a small circular room where a mannequin stood with a long revealing gown. She couldn't help but to look at the price tag.

"Wait, 10 million?!"
