Though Meili who was flying away with Axel and the coffin didn't know that she had managed to escape the wrath of a Goddess due to not choosing to try and open the coffin herself, she did feel a sense of relief fill her around the same time that Xuannu had left to find Aphrodite.
This was also when she realized that her back was soaked with cold sweat.
Looking warily towards Axel whom she thought was the reason behind her turning so scared, Meili who remembered that devastating spell he used to turn the Philae Island into something no bigger than a circle which was few feet in diameter was now sure that he was definitely related to a God in one way or the other.
Be it a God's disciple, or maybe even a direct descendant of a God, in one way or the other he was definitely related to some God.
While the possible options were two, Meili however guessed that it was most likely the first option which was true.
After all, that spell of his which made her soul shiver from just thinking about it, it was definitely not something that Axel casted by himself.
That could only mean that he received it as a blessing from some God.
Therefore, it could only be some very strong God, or maybe a Sovereign Deity who blessed Axel to give him the chance to use such a strong spell.
This was because it was near impossible for the truly strong Gods to have a child with mortals whenever they wanted and even more to let them roam on Earth instead of taking them back with themselves.
Not to mention there weren't many strong Gods who could control lightning and at the same time slept around with the mortals.
The only one Meili could think that matched the description was Zeus, but she remembered hearing a rumour that Zeus had vowed to not have any more affairs.
As for the female Goddess, they weren't like the male Gods who just had sex with a mortal because they felt like it.
Thus, the only logical conclusion could be that Axel was a disciple of a God.
Though it only happened very rarely, it wasn't something which didn't happen at all making Meili feel very confident and think that Axel truly was a disciple of a God.
That was also what explained him possessing the weird treasure which blended their existences with the darkness of the world.
What she couldn't figure out however was about who the God or Goddess that was capable of controlling both darkness and lightning was.
Did he actually have two teachers?
Shaking her head from feeling a headache coming up due to thinking so much, Meili chose to not think anymore and focused on just flying as fast as possible.
...
"Uhhhhhh.... Who's so noisy?"
Opening his eyes which were feeling heavy due to exhaustion, Axel who took less than a second to remember everything that happened quickly understood why he was feeling so weak.
Since he used up his one-time blessing, the divine powers given to him by Freya faded away making him feel weak for a while.
But the truth, however, was that Axel wasn't hurt in any way, and this feeling of weakness would pass away before it was long.
Forcing his weak feeling body to move as his eyes couldn't spot anything in the pitch-black darkness, Axel who knew that he was on a bed and had his clothes on him quickly pulled out his phone and turned the screen on.
Using that light, Axel began looking towards what was on his side which gave him a great scare and almost fall of the bed.
"Fck...! It's just the coffin... "
Letting out a loud breath from realizing that the winged woman silhouette he saw was a drawing on the golden coffin, Axel turned the lights inside the room on and began assessing the situation.
He was completely unharmed, the coffin was still closed, and the both of them were inside a hotel room.
But... Where was Meili?
Ignoring the goddess who was making sounds nonstop, Axel started walking towards the door while his body very slowly but surely was feeling less and less week.
Opening the door, Axel quickly sighed in relief because Meili was right outside with a phone stuck to her ear.
Considering the conversation, Axel guessed that she was making preparations for leaving the country.
Waiting patiently until she was done, Axel didn't need to say anything before Meili began speaking.
"Our deal is considered as completed so I'll be leaving this county and going back to China. I've also arranged tickets for you."
Receiving multiple emails at once, Axel saw that Meili sent him a total of three flight tickets. Each of them went to someplace in China and were for one day each starting from today.
"I don't know your destination, so I arranged the flights to the only country I can help you getting in. If your destination is some other place, you can book your own tickets."
"But I suggest you don't take too long and leave this place as soon as possible. The entire Egyptian government is on the look for you and that coffin."
"Farewell Axel. Make sure to leave this country as soon as possible."
Having said everything she wanted, Meili who had made up her mind to not have any more interactions with this disciple of a God turned around to leave.
After all, no good came from a mortal getting close to those with divinity or related to them.
Unfortunately, Axel had other thoughts.
Stepping forward and holding Meili's hand, Axel pulled her back inside the room and slammed the door shut.
