Chapter 15 - Dragon Pavillion

"Welcome guest, please show me your membership token."

Nodding his head towards the woman who spoke to him, Axel stretched his right hand forward which had a ring on his finger and a bracelet on his wrist.

Seeing the two of these, the receptionist couldn't help it as her eyes turned wide enough that it looked possible for her eyeballs to fall out.

The place which Axel entered right now was a branch of the organization known as the Dragon Pavillion.

Though the name sounded very dominating and strong, it was in fact just a trade organization. In short, a special place for cultivators where they could buy and sell anything and everything related to cultivation.

There were quite a lot of such trade organizations in the world of cultivation, but most of them were quite small and only available in particular places.

The Dragon Pavillion, however, wasn't one such thing and rather it was one of the biggest trade organizations in the world of cultivation.

So big that even though it was established in China, it had at least one branch in every single country and major cities across the Earth.

The membership token which the beautiful receptionist asked for, and the thing which allowed Axel to pass through the wall were both the same thing.

It was the ring which every cultivator who possessed a membership with the Dragon Pavillion possessed.

Though the ring wasn't as simple as it looked. Sure its only purpose was to serve as proof of one's identity to the members of the Dragon Pavillion.

But, the way the ring looked was what decided the level of one's membership and.

All of the rings given out by the Dragon Pavillion were golden in colour and had the image of a dragon on it.

What differentiated their level however was the subtle but visible difference in how bright the dragon was which could only be spotted by the employees who did so on a regular basis and those who very carefully observed it.

The ring on Axel's finger however was something that every employee of the Dragon Pavillion needed to identify instantly without making a mistake.

After all, the ring on Axel's finger represented the highest level membership given out by the Dragon Pavillion.

And this ring was only given to a few special categories of individuals.

Other than all of the Gods who were gifted the ring as a token of respect, their direct descendants, the leaders of the strongest forces on earth and their direct descendants were the only ones who were given this ring. And none of them were individuals whom even the Dragon Pavillion would not want to cause trouble with for no reason.

But, it wasn't just this ring which surprised the receptionist.

What surprised her more than the ring which Xuannu pulled strings and arranged for Axel without either of their identities being revealed was the bracelet on his hand.

A boy wearing a golden bracelet which had the designs of flowers on it sure looked a little peculiar, but that wasn't her reason to be surprised.

Instead, it was because she knew what the bracelet was.

It was a special spatial treasure which could store anything other than living beings inside it. Though she didn't know how big the spade inside this particular bracelet was, the woman knee that these items were something that could not be made by humans and could only be gifted by Gods to the mortals.

And since Axel possessed such a thing, it only meant that his status was much higher than she expected it to originally be.

Not wasting a single second since the moment she saw the both of them, the receptionist quickly asked Axel to feel free to look around while she called the store manager.

...

Axel who had already been to one of the Dragon Pavillion's shops began looking around to see what were available after the woman left.

The shop itself looked to only possessed four floors.

The first floor only had the receptionist while the second floor was where all the items for sale were available. And finally, there was the third floor where there were private rooms for the special guests to order for whatever they wanted from inside the room.

As for the fourth floor, this was something which most people other than the manager of the shop and their superiors would never enter.

Walking to the second floor, Axel ignored the curious looks by the female staff and began exploring the various sections ranging from herbs and techniques to armours and weapons.

Literally everything that any cultivator could need was available to be purchased in every branch of the Dragon Pavillion.

While the spread and the quality of the items differed depending on how big and important the branch was, the cultivator would find the most necessary items without any trouble at all of the branches.

Whenever the guest possessed a certain level of membership, the receptionist would discretely call for the female staff to escort the guest and help them with their purchase.

This way they would even be able to try and convince the guests to buy even more items.

So, since none of them were called, the women who say Axel walking all alone wrote him off to possess a lower level membership.

Due to this, even though he was quite handsome the women who worked here to earn as much money as possible completely ignored him and waited for them to be called when the high-level members whom they considered as big spender arrived.
