Axel didn't actually come to the Dragon Pavillion to purchase for any material items due to which he just looked at everything in the passing and didn't stop at any of them.
While this made him seem as if he was looking down on the items, the female staff who weren't called when he entered wrote it off as a poor boy trying to behave like he was rich.
"Honoured guest, the store manager is going to be here as soon as possible. Is there anything I can do for you until then?"
Shaking his head, Axel didn't say anything and went up to the third floor to wait for the store manager since he had something to discuss with him.
Bowing as Axel walked by her without saying anything, the receptionist who hadn't heard him say a single word since he entered felt that maybe she did something to offend him.
But since the store manager didn't know that it was her, she quickly looked around and smiled from realizing that none of the female staff had moved from their original place decided to blame it all on them.
"You all ignored him? Humph! See what's going to happen when the store manager learns of this!"
Shouting loudly even though a few other guests were inside the shop, the receptionist left the women in shock since none of them could understand what was happening right now.
...
"Mr Axel, I made you wait."
"It's fine. And you can drop the Mr, that just makes me sound old."
Not really surprised at the store manager finding out his name because that's what he expected she did in the time she took before coming to see him, Axel asked, "Shall we get to business, now?"
Nodding her head, the woman with a professional smile on her face said, "We can talk in my room if you are fine with it."
Not saying anything, Axel licked his lips and walked to the fourth floor behind the woman where no one other than the store manager herself had entered until now.
After all, even the receptionist only relayed the message through some mechanism and didn't actually put even a foot on the fourth floor.
"You are... "
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I actually forgot to introduce myself. I'm Yao Meili, the store manager of this branch."
Walking up to the fourth floor, the two of them opened the door and entered inside the room as the doors closed by themselves behind them.
"How can I help you today, Axel? Special herbs? Rare materials that are only found here? Or.... "
"Information about everyone that is coming here for her."
Narrowing her eyes as soon as she heard those world's, Meili smiled and said, "That's a very ambitious request, Axel."
"But not something that the Dragon Pavillion cannot fulfil."
Talking back and fro while trying to find out as much information about the other one as possible, Axel couldn't help it as his eyes repeatedly made their way back to the Meili's hand and looked at the ring on her finger.
After all, it wasn't the ring which was given out by the Dragon Pavillion, and rather looked like a wedding ring.
"Does the ring on my hand look more beautiful than my face?"
"I wouldn't use the word beautiful, but it's definitely more interesting."
Looking towards Meili who after brushing the strands of brown hair falling on her face and tucked them behind her ear began pouring tea into the cup placed in front of him, Axel said, "I can't believe that someone as beautiful and smart as you would choose to get married at such a young age."
"Flirting with me won't get you a discount, Axel."
Picking up the cup of tea around the same time that Meili sat down in the chair opposite to him and picked up her own cup, Axel finally got down to business.
Instead of focusing on how beautiful the white-skinned Meili looked while dressed in the tight silver qipao which made her already voluptuous body look even sexier, Axel chose to finish doing what he came here for first.
"How much?"
"For what?"
Rolling his eyes at how Meili after sipping the tea got on the table with her back facing him and deliberately bent her waist to show off her supple ass, Axel said, "Why try to act as if you'd sell your body when you won't. Let's just talk about the price for the information."
"Humph! I thought you would be more fun."
Getting off the table, Meili walked towards a shelf nearby and pulled out a file from it.
"Everything you want is inside this. But you should know that the prize for this information wouldn't be small. After all, we established this branch just because of this one special occasion."
"But that doesn't mean that I'll have to bear the price you spent in establishing this either."
Pouting once again, Meili said, "If you don't pay me enough, I'll have to spend a lot of time in this foreign country, Axel."
Groaning at how this woman seemed to want him to pay a huge fortune just because she could finish her target, Axel said, "Name the price first, then we'll talk."
"Let's be fair. Since this information will help you a great deal in achieving your goal, shall we settle at 10 million?"
With his lips twitching, Axel despite considering himself rich enough to do anything he ever wanted felt a huge pain in his heart.
"Since you want 10 million, shouldn't I receive certain benefits?"
"Hmmm.. How about a promise to not sell this information to anyone else?"
