Well. The system is having more and more errors recently. What the hell is happening?
------
Aein POV
Malady has been making very big moves recently. It seems that she is willing to give master Gin aid even at the point he is at. If we could just remove these system administration bastards everything would turn out the way she wants....
*sigh
They just dont die. No matter how they are killed, they return. On top of all this malady has gotten worse. She has started watching Gin's daily life all the time, along with me..... I understand her desire to protect him from foreign disturbance but, this is way past that point. Using 'small wishes' to accomplish such matters..... Why does she have so many of those stored away?..... Perhaps I should adjust my mindset. Though, I'm not sure how to make myself obsessed to that level.... I need to see malady.
-------
"Malady.... I have found myself full of doubts.... That is not allowed. I..... Is there some way to adapt my mind to be similar to yours?" Aein
Her grin grows wild. She seems to be full of inexplicable joy. My words go unheard as she starts breathing heavily....? What is going on?
I start watching what's going on and, see a very odd scene. Orange and blue energy is locking together like puzzle pieces connecting. Why is malady breathing so heavily from this? Perhaps there is some more profound meaning for the energy to connect like that. Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge about the matters of men and women. A connection between the two? Hmm....
I wait a little for malady to calm down, her form which is very random most of the time turns into a 16-17 year old girl all of a sudden. Black puffy hair curled at her shoulders. Rather short with odd clothing. Blue trousers that have a zipper and button?..... A fine white shirt with a cute black cat face..... Her chest is always large no matter what form she takes.... This time they look rather soft like a pillow. Why does she do that? I know that there is some sort of meaning to it..... I always leave these confusing matters subordinates as they never explain anything!
'I want.' Sillith
'I want.' Sillith
'I want.' Sillith
A light voice resounds from within but, it's not my own inner thought. This most definitely isn't like telepathy either. She suddenly looks over a little confused.
"Ahhh.... Aein. You saw something you shouldn't have. Come over here. I'll fix this up." Sillith
-----
"Malady.... I have found myself full of doubts.... That is not allowed. I..... Is there some way to adapt my mind to be similar to yours?" Aein
"So that's what this is about. I guess something has to be done, huh. Lets go with that. Don't want another incident..... Even if you guys won't go against my will it's not 'healthy' to have doubts about what I'm doing. Someone may try to take advantage..... Let's teach you guys about 'love'. Properly.
-Gin POV
After Inival is turned into whatever she is, the other converted elves want the same thing done. However, it seems that the process can't be reproduced as there is major resistance. We move on with talks about the upcoming conquest. We aren't sure if we should try to take out the leadership of the drow first and insert puppets, or, if we should be more agressive and start converting settlements.
The biggest issue with starting a conquest is the matter of foreign influence. Mainly from the Black Iron Pyre. The country that the fallen dwarves have built. I wouldn't be suprised if they put forth as much force as possible to wipe out their old rivals. The 'Union' shouldn't be an issue..... Yeah, right. A country that attacks them on a regular basis being put into dire straits, there is no way they won't try to pull something.
Unless we can keep information from leaking as we take over the leadership I don't know how to keep both of those forces out. Vulki has horrible feelings for the fallen dwarves. Far exceeding her hate for drow based on her.... Words.... Nemesis found her language to be interesting and started cussing them out with even worse vocabulary....I had to have Xelu leave as this type of influence would be very bad on her.
So, after even more discussion the final strategy is to forcefully try to convert the leaders of the religious factions along with drow royalty. To be converted they have to be willing.... We can make them willing enough. After that we plan to announce to the drow masses that they can be converted. The unwilling ones will be 'dealt' with.... This decision made me very upset. I kept wavering on it. I mean, it will become a 'CONVERT OR DEATH' sort of scenario. The main bulk of the religious factions will probably be purged. This is not due to greed for experience either. I decided on this as there will be religious people who will die for belief. Is it better to give them what they would want or, to forcefully break their ideologies and most likely their minds? At this point..... I think that I am objectively evil.
As time goes on this sort of thing becomes more prevalent. Eventually, I 'will' not even waver on matters like this.....
Lets begin.
------
The process is rather slow. I was braced to see plenty of horrible scenes. It is quite different though. Groups of Kess' spiderlings were escorted to different areas in the Drow Theocracy in mass. The other spiderlings have been smuggled very carefully in small numbers as they are more.... Noticeable.
Major focus has been set on the capital and the main temples for the different religions. Deep holes are hidden in certain key locations. Why did the Sillith faction build these? Well, to throw countless bodies in as offerings of course..... A few cases of exposure have been encountered but, it was waved off as giant spiders are not uncommon in drow society.
While the spiderlings were being escorted everywhere, I read up on vampires and, I converted more and more drow. I had Kess stop her digging job as that may unearth something that we can't deal with at the moment. Anyways, despite the Sillith faction having the 'lowest' numbers there is still a ridiculous amount of followers. Key personnel will be kept as drow for the moment to help with infiltrating and for keeping up appearances.
I worry that the lower members may act as spies as well so extra caution is being taken into account. We don't need to care about already converted people as they have spiderlings fused into them. On top of that everyone who has been converted..... Enslaved themselves to me..... Intriguing, but, highly disturbing.
Now as to prophets.... Most of the time they are useless only giving small amounts of info. Cases like the one who was treated as a madman who predicted the fall of drow are really rare. To a level where that occurs only once a thousand years.
Still, that guy must have felt very wronged to be treated as insane. The drow that I'm going after are the ones in this pocket. To convert all the drow in this planet would be impossible.... I think.
