Gin POV-
The mission can be put off for later. What is important is creating insurance in case that goliath tries to attack the nest. Worst case scenario is that we have to abandon it.... We can't run away either so perhaps we should dig a long tunnel. I get Kess and her spiderlings to work immediately with excavating. The amount of metal spiderlings has reached a ridiculous degree so its progressing rather quickly. After two hours the buzzing and shaking stops which worries me. I fit all of the spiderlings into the tunnel and perpare to close it off at any moment. After waiting for a while nothing happens.
Phew.... I can't be sure that the giant fly monster is gone yet, but, as more time goes by, that is more likely. I check the mission and the first objective is checked off with the others remaining unknown. I get Kess' spiderlings to check out the situation as I wonder why this objective was so easy to complete.... Did something else attract it's attention?

Royal Guard POV-
We have a few farseers watching the situation with scrying pools. Normally these would only be used in wars but, this matter is an exception. Hopefully, the Zephyr Lord can take care of the wretched and then go settle down in another dungeon. Ohhhh.... It looks like all the dungeon monsters are dead. They got killed as the Zephyr Lord tears its way down through the ground with blasts of wind. Well, fairy gnomes are irritating creatures so that's a pleasant thing. After a while a large explosion booms as the Zephyr Lord gets blasted out of the hole that it dug. A large amalgamation climbs out of the hole.... Well.... Wretched have a limit of epic rank. The problem with them is that they appear in ridiculous numbers and can grow in strength quickly. This creature should be a fusion of epic rank ones that came back to protect the core that summons them.
Some powerful drow and monsters died due to not grasping the situation quickly enough when the wretched first invaded. If you don't prepare, you will be washed away by numbers. Still, it is no match for a true legend-rank being. The amalgamation is thrown into the air as thousands of blades tear it into mincemeat. The core is destroyed along with it relieving me. Now the only issue is the Zephyr Lord. It should look for a new dungeon to reside in but..... There is the chance that it will attack our country.....
It turns its head to look at a cliff in the distance but then something happens. A mechanical sound bursts as a bolt jabs into the creature's side followed by an explosion.... The size of the bolt indicates that a ballista is the culprit but, who would roll a ballista into that area.... I have the farseers look for it and, I get cold sweats looking at the situation.
Fucking fallen dwarves.... They have a few tied up drow and a ballista set up nearby. What they are doing is obvious. They are trying to get the Zephyr Lord to attack our people by pinning it on us. The Zephyr Lord knows about our country due to torturing information out of drow that have gone to kill it. It will think that we are responsible.... Shit....
This is no longer a situation I can handle. I run out of the scrying room to find the captain. I find her drinking tea with the queen in a private room. Those two have been weirdly close recently and rumors are spreading like wildfire.... The king, he is nothing but a toy the queen keeps around to continue the bloodline....
Ignoring their flirting, I immediately report the situation. Thankfully, they are both level-headed individuals. They won't blame situations that are unavoidable on their subordinates.
"It seems that the fallen dwarves are looking for a fight. Although a legendary creature may not be as bad as a wretched invasion, it is still a horrible creature to deal with." Drow Queen
"Mmmm.... Well we can probably lure it into another country.... Unfortunately, with the terrain it would be too difficult to lure it into the fallen dwarves country. Have a group of scouts lure it to the 'Union'. Those trash never listen to our demands and have been getting out of hand recently as well." Royal Guard Captain
Bowing, I leave the room to get to work. As I shut the door I hear a small moan. Why is our race so promiscuous? Personally I find it kinda gross. I did have several organs removed and have gone through a couple procedures to keep myself from falling to lust. The experiments I went through when I was little made me 'different' from normal drow as well. In particular I find no sense of meaning in anything I do.....
"Inival! Get to work!" Royal Guard Captain
"Uhhh! Yes Ma'am!" Royal Guard/Inival
I get together a large group of criminal slaves and scouts. Leading that monster towards another country will take a lot of sacrifices. The scouts are to use the slaves as decoys.
*Sigh
"This is going to be a pain...." Inival

Gin POV-
It seems that the Zephyr Lord is truly gone. That's a load off my shoulders. Still. It would have been nice to farm the wretched for a bit longer I am currently half way to level 13. I must have missed the notification while focusing on something else. What should I do to get experience now? I could start a war with the drow but, after hearing Vulki talk about their nature, I have a few scruples with that. Plus I may end up killing children, which I am entirely against. For the same reason I am against attacking other countries as well....
Kess' spiderlings are quite adept at digging..... Perhaps we can find another pocket? From the sounds of things, the pocket we are currently in is quite mild. Most are engulfed in killing and the people in others are 'supposedly' even more barbaric.
*Ding
Ohhh? What's this?
*Wisdoms blessing has activated. Knowledge granted 'Vampires'.
I forgot I had that skill. It hadn't activated for a while so I just figured that it may be somewhat of a dud. Looking over what I am given suprises me. Isn't this basically a full book? The screen keeps going on and on as I scroll down. In it's entirety I'm guessing its around a hundred thousand words long. I glanced over some of it. It's all about vampires and their kin..... The system is not unique to me. So anyone with this skill can accrue massive amounts of information if they live long enough, huh....
I get Kess to work and get reading. I've had many boring spells but now I have something to pass the time.
