"Mom! You are scaring me!!!"
Aileen interjected and for some reason, when she saw the fear on her mother's eyes, she felt goose bumps crawling on her skin
"That is why you have to make some haste. We can't afford to be found here!!!"
Caroline's voice went an octave higher as she urged the twin to pick their pace. Shortly after they were done packing their clothes, they left the house with hurried steps.
The mother and daughter have no plans to look back at the mansion and the expensive things they would leave behind. All they wanted at that moment was to stay as far away as possible on that place.
But then just as when they were only a few more steps away before they could get out of its premises, they halted their steps all at the same time. It was as if an invisible force was preventing them from moving.
