'Am I born out from the sin of two cheaters?'
Syra felt bitter when that thought crossed her mind and as if shaking her head would help her clear that thought out of her mind, Syra cradled her head with her both hands and continued to turn her head from side to side.
"No. This can't be true. You are lying, Aunt Caroline."
As she said that, Syra lifted her head to meet the other party's gaze. She stared at Caroline's eyes and added,
"My mom would never do that, not to her friend. My parents were not that kind of people."
The girl muttered under her breath. But from the way she sounded, it was as though she was telling those words to convince herself more than anyone else in the room.
