Clyde said the same thing for the umpteenth time already, but it did not seem that they were stopping anytime soon.
The road became bumpy as though they had gone through some countryside road.
The glint of excitement within Syra's eyes was slowly dwindling and the remaining hope in her face instantly vanished and was replaced with disappointment when she came to realize where Clyde was actually taking her.
"Clyde, if you are mad at me, you could have just said so. We don't have to reach this point. Are you in any way planning of leaving me behind along this forest?"
Syra asked suspiciously and while, at it, she also tried to grab a hold of Clyde's shirt so he would not be able to get away from her.
Meanwhile, Clyde nearly burst out laughing when he heard Syra's thoughts.
"You sure had a different way of thinking, Syra. Are humans always that skeptical?"
