"TSS! What an overly conceited fellow."
Syra muttered under her breath as softly as she could so that only she would be able to hear what she just said. But the other party was still able to detect her incoherent muttering.
"What is that? Are you saying something???"
Clyde inquired back and then without further warning, he walked towards Syra.
Syra was startled when Clyde suddenly closed the distance between the two of them so she subconsciously took a step back, resulting in another clumsy mistake.
Because she was too flustered and was not looking properly at where her foot was about to land, she failed to notice that the ground next to hers was not leveled and so she lost her balance.
