Since she was the only one who was not affected by Clyde's magic, Caroline was the one to first raise the question when an intruder suddenly waltz inside their house and started picking Syra's body.
However, a cold shiver ran down her spine when her eyes met the other party's gaze. Caroline cautiously took a step back and when she looked behind her shoulder to check her daughters, she was surprised to see them frozen on the spot and only their eyes were capable of moving.
Even their mouth was left agape and even without them saying, the expression on their faces said it all.
They were terrified of Clyde.
"You freak! What have you done to my daughters?!"
Despite how frightened she was inside, Caroline did not allow it to show in her face and she continued to question Clyde. She tried her best to keep a straight face but the quiver on her face betrayed her purpose.
