Chapter 3 - A Story of the Past

~Stary night sky shining down on me as I sit down next to the creek just staring down at the water. I've been fishing all afternoon, and there's not much to show for it. I guess I'll just have to take what I got since it's honestly better than nothing. I grab all the fish and take it back to the call, and thanks to the assassins training I had I have the basic survival skills.

~I take two rocks and some wood to be able to start a small fire. I start to see a little bit of a spark around the wood and leaves. Blowing softly on the sparks watching them turn into balls of fire. A sigh of relief leaves my lips as the fire grows bigger.

~Just sitting back just taking in the freedom, something I have never truly felt. Back at the camp we never had a free time. We were all children who were taken away from their mothers at birth. We all knew the truth, we were there to train to kill for the government. It was a secret project that no one knew about.

~Our mothers would be women who were taken not long before they were due to deliver us. Once it was noticed how well our genetics were during a test given to every woman that were pregnant be tested with. All these women have gone missing, families torn apart just so our stupid government could have slaves kill them. We had no choice in what our futures are and how we grow up.

~They choose everything for us since day one, never to leave the camp. We were located in the woods deep in the middle of no where. We train in all different forms of weather and no matter what conditions we were in. Some of us died during the training, it was the survival of the fittest. There were so many ways of torture that we endured from small punishments like hitting, to extreme measurements like death.

~Most of us dreamed of death, and especially a quick and painless one. The fear of the adults and what they may do to us haunted us every night. Always wondering when someone would come and who would be taken next. We would work us to death in all this intense training. We wont let that training go to waste, we will have revenge.

~Us children couldn't take it anymore once we found out the truth about who we really are. It made us all sick, but we couldn't allow them to find out that we knew. We had to get out soon without them knowing that we knew who we were. It was only a matter of time before they would find out and we just left, I left....
