Aeris looked around. No one was still awake but the Guardian standing close to the Deep Cliff. He flapped his wings silently, then thightened his muscles and rose into the air. The Guardian looked into his direction, curious. Aeris bit his lip and rose higher. Luckily his wings were black and he wore dark clothes. If he was being caught by his tribe, he was sure to be executed, or at least be cutted his wings off.
The Guardian stepped down and slowly approached Aeris. Sweat ran down his face. Then he hooted, just like an owl would do. The Guardian frowned and returned to his stand. Aeris relaxed and took off.
He flew down to the seashore. There he landed on a rock, dipped his hand in the water and waited. It was cold, yet Aeris loved its soft touch. He sat down and ate an apple while waiting, without removing his hand from the water. Shortly after, the surface frizzled and long white hair appeared. Aeris' face brightened and he smiled. A beautiful woman salvaged and climbed up to Aeris. All over her body were little white scales, shining mysteriously in the moonlight. Instead of legs she had a fish's tail, and her fingers were webbed.
Aeris pulled her up and kissed her. He hugged her tightly, not caring about getting wet. She embraced him with the same emotion. Then she backed off a little, smiling.
"Aeris", she said, glooming.
"Nosfera", he answered happily.
"I was afraid they had caught you and I would have been left behind all alone", she said, hugging him.
"I would never leave you behind", Aeris said, hugging her. "Have you made your preparations?"
"Yes", she whispered, smiling. "Let's go, before my mother sends out her soldiers to search me." Aeris nodded.
"Let's go." Nosfera grabbed her little seaweedbag and gave it to Aeris. He put it into his own bag and secured it tightly. Nosfera had put on a gear. She climbed higher up and held on tightly to Aeris neck. He secured her with some belts, then straightened up.
"Are you okay?", he asked Nosfera.
"Yes. Let's not waste any more time", she whispered in anxious exitement. He nodded, smiling. He stretched his muscles in the wings and arms, then took off and dissolved in the night.
