Chapter 8 - Chapter 8, I don't like it

Huo Jingchen slowly clenched his hand that was hanging by his side. He turned his head to avoid her gaze. His eyes were dark as he said in a deep voice, "I don't like it."

Zhao Siqing seriously considered his expression.

She wondered if the problem was that he didn't like her and Lu Qian specifically being together or if he didn't want anybody to be with her.

After all, sometimes it was really hard to infer the preferences of rich people.

"You have a grudge against Lu Qian?" Zhao Siqing thought this was the most reasonable question to ask.

Huo Jingchen's gaze was dark and he didn't say anything.

At this moment, Lu Qian, who was still waiting outside, was already walking in their direction.

Zhao Siqing still didn't understand the relationship between Huo and Lu Qian. She was worried that the two of them would be hostile if they met, so she couldn't help but say again, "I don't know what kind of grudge you have against him, but if you don't like him, I'll try my best to avoid him meeting you.''

On hearing that he pursed his lips slightly and clearly still had no intention of speaking. Zhao Siqing said slowly, "Well, Mr. Huo, I'll take my leave then."

After she left, Huo Jingchen sat in his original spot and didn't move. His deep gaze fell on the two figures not far away, and it was terrifyingly sinister.

'One was him, and the other was you.

'There was a clear distinction between them!'

Huo Jingchen lowered his eyes and covered the restlessness in his eyes. It was as if he was trying his best to hold back something. He hoarsely ordered, "Drive!"

He was afraid that if he didn't leave now, he wouldn't be able to control himself.

'I don't like Lu Qian. I don't like all the people she likes!'

For six years, he hadn't even dared to take a single step closer to her.

He had thought he could cope but after just one meeting he was already on the verge of losing control!

After Zhao Siqing got out of the car, she looked at Lu Qian and said, "Why didn't you call me when you came over?"

Lu Qian pulled his gaze from the Maybach and looked over at Zhao Siqing. "I came to see you. You've been looking for relatives all over the Internet. I'm afraid that someone might kidnap you by accident."

Knowing that he was talking about the incident where she asked Lin Yutong to apologize to her father, Zhao Siqing smiled lightly. "Are you still afraid that I won't win?"

"Are you confident?"

Thinking about the exam, Zhao Siqing let out a long sigh. "I don't have confidence but I do have strength. Let's just leave it to fate."

Lu Qian couldn't help but reach out and touch her head affectionately. "If you don't get in, will you really quit the psychology world?"

Zhao Siqing smiled. "With all this drama, I guess I can't go back on my word even if I wanted to."

Lu Qian smiled. "Go on up. If you don't get in, I'll support you."

"How long will you support me for?" Zhao Siqing asked with a smile.

"I'll support you for a lifetime," Lu Qian said dotingly.

Zhao Siqing couldn't help but smile. "There's no time to waste, I'll go up and start reading now."

"Go."

After taking a few steps, Zhao Siqing couldn't help but turn back. She looked down at Lu Qian and called his name softly.

Lu Qian's gaze was gentle and he looked at her without saying a word.

Zhao Siqing was silent for a while, then said quietly, "I feel like it might be exhausting to be with me. If you can't...forget it."

Lu Qian looked at her with a hint of indulgence in his eyes. He smiled lightly and said, "Silly."

Zhao Siqing was silent and did not say anything. Her relationship with Lu Qian was complicated but also simple.

It began with bickering when they met, studying abroad. Later, Lu Qian had chased after her for a long time and she agreed to try to get along with him.

However, she was sick so the relationship was not easy.

It was humorously ironic. Although she was a psychiatrist she had a mental illness. Perhaps it was because doctors did not take care of themselves. She could not cure herself.

She had resisted and rejected all contact with the opposite sex. During her few years in university, she'd done untold amounts of psychological treatment and could now just barely manage social contact.
