Yin Qianchen found Liang Yunsheng's expression funny.
"I want to talk to you about something else," he said as he turned the television off.
"What's that?" Liang Yunsheng hoped it wasn't anything too scary.
"Go abroad with me in a week. I've already sorted your passport. Hao Cheng will tell you about the weather in Country D. You'll just need to pack up the necessary luggage according to his instructions. And anything you need, we can buy when we're there."
Abroad? To Country D?
She'd only studied German for a couple of months, if even that. No matter how good her learning ability was, Liang Yunsheng could only cope with some daily expressions.
'Isn't going to Country D now a little too quick?' she thought.
Every thought Liang Yunsheng had plastered itself on her face. How could Yin Qianchen not see what she was thinking?
"It's not quite what you think. I don't have any work for a few days, so I'll take you there to get used to it. I'll also take a look at the living environment of the school there. If you have any thoughts, feel free to tell me."
Liang Yunsheng relaxed. So that's how it was. It was her first time traveling abroad!
She still couldn't shake the feeling of what she had just seen, however.
Liang Yunsheng began her boring and quiet recovery life. She'd often think of Zhao Xuexiang. She didn't know how the woman was now. Liang Yunsheng only saw her leap, so she didn't know whether the woman was dead or alive.
Yin Qianchen wouldn't mention it, and Liang Yunsheng wouldn't ask.
After Liang Yunsheng's wounds healed to a suitable degree, the little yellow puppy was finally allowed to approach her.
For the first few days, Yin Qianchen forbade the puppy to come near him. The puppy lived in the dog house that Hao Cheng had chosen for him. It wasn't happy about this since whenever he saw Liang Yunsheng, he would try to pounce on her and get close to her.
He was ordered to live in the garden. Although it was miserable, it was much better than his past wandering life.
"We should give him a name! It's too informal for a puppy to bark like that," Liang Yunsheng said to Yin Qianchen as she stroked the puppy's fur.
"Boring!" Yin Qianchen didn't even turn his head. He already found the dog an eyesore.
"Boring? That name seems quite special," Liang Yunsheng snickered. "Boring. Boring. From now on, you will be like me, living under someone else's roof."
As if it understood Liang Yunsheng's words, the puppy barked twice before whimpering. It was very miserable.
Yin Qianchen finally couldn't bear to listen to the pair playing around. He turned off the television with a bang and said, "does this family still have any rules?"
Hao Cheng, who was at the side, looked at the puppy with a smile. 'If you didn't like it, you would have left long ago,' he thought to himself. 'In the past, you came and went in a hurry and were busy all day. How would you have time to set rules? Now, you like to stay at home because Miss Yunsheng is here. Miss Yunsheng, you should quickly come of age!'
The ringing of the phone shattered the silence. The landline was being used less and less, so no one could figure out who was making the call.
Hao Cheng answered. "Miss Yunsheng," he said, turning to Liang Yunsheng, "it's for you."
