"What on Earth are you running for?"
A familiar voice came from behind.
She she listened to the voice, she also fell into a warm embrace.
"I'm sorry..."
She felt a resonance in the broad chest and uttered the two words, as if they were transmitted through the vibrations of her heart.
Liang Yunsheng was sent into a brief daze. She felt wrong for a moment. Was the person hugging her not Yin Qianchen?
That was obviously not the case, but if it was Yin Qianchen, apologizing wasn't like him.
She still remembered the time she asked Yin Qianchen to apologize to her and he refused.
"I'm think I'm good." After saying this, Liang Yunsheng couldn't help but be stunned. She was tired and hungry, her body covered in injuries and ready to give out at any moment. Her clothes were not only torn but also stained with circles of blood.
She wasn't good.
Hearing Yin Qianchen say such apologetic words, she still couldn't bear to make him feel guilty.
"It's my fault this time," Yin Qianchen said simply.
He tightened his arms around Liang Yunsheng.
She didn't ask if Yin Qianchen's apology was because of his withdrawal of the bodyguards or because he didn't save her in time. Or both.
She'd already felt Yin Qianchen's apology, though. She didn't blame him.
"By the way, are you alright?"
Liang Yunsheng remembered that the two of them had come for pious reasons. From the looks of it, he had arrived on time.
Yin Qianchen didn't answer. He just lowered his head and gently kissed her forehead.
Liang Yunsheng's body froze. His lips were soft and warm. The only warmth she had felt after a night of hunger and cold.
She was in a trance, but she didn't push him away. She felt her cheeks burn and her heart begin to beat wildly.
Crystal clear tears rolled down from the corners of her eyes.
She was really useless. She'd clearly experienced many terrible things since she was kidnapped, and she had escaped. But still she didn't cry. Why? Why could she suddenly not hold it in?
She couldn't help but laugh at herself. She wondered if he would laugh at her childish behavior again.
However, Yin Qianchen didn't seem to mind. He held her face and gently kissed her forehead again. Then to the corner of her eyes to kiss the already cold tears.
That only made Liang Yunsheng's face run hotter. Fortunately, Yin Qianchen's phone rang, easing a little embarrassment.
Because the two of them were so close to each other, Yin Qianchen didn't deliberately avoid them.
Liang Yunsheng managed to hear the content of the phone call.
The person who called was Yan Huo. "Master, we caught him. It took a lot of effort, but we accidentally broke an arm. You won't mind, right?" he said in a solemn voice.
