Snatching leftovers from wild dogs?
What had Yin Qianchen experienced?
For a moment, she really wanted to know about his past.
She wanted to know the kinds of things he had encountered and the people he had met.
She knew that it wasn't the time nor the place to ask, however.
But she knew that she was not one of them, one of the wild dogs.
"By the way, Yunsheng. Someone called Su Qihang often came here to look for you, recently. Given that his surname was Su, I paid attention to him." In Auntie Wang's heart, Liang Yunsheng's surname was still Su.
"Su... Qihang?"
The eldest son of the Su family...
Liang Yunsheng was overcome by a feeling she couldn't explain.
They weren't close when they were young. And that was down to the way their parents treated them.
She herself had dropped out of school to work at home, but Su Qihang was sent abroad by her parents to study. She was not a person without feelings.
Every time she thought of the good things Su Qihang had eaten abroad she hurt. He nourished his brain and strengthened his body. All she could do was her best to survive. After finishing high school, she still felt some resentment.
But why did he come to look for her?
She couldn't find a single reason.
It couldn't be that he came to ask for the money the Su family had spent raising her, right?
With those thoughts plaguing her mind, she walked out of the noodle shop.
"Come back to the Liang family with me," Yin Qianchen said as he got back into the car.
"I don't really want to go," she told him.
Since she had escaped from there once, she didn't exact want to go back. Liang Yunsheng sat beside Yin Qianchen.
"What I said wasn't a question," Yin Qianchen said coldly.
Liang Yunsheng was stunned. She almost forgot his nature because of the warmth she felt from the shop.
Someone like Yin Qianchen would never initiate a marriage for the sake of marriage alone. He had other motives. It was obvious that he wanted to use the Liang family for something.
Liang Yunsheng decided to remain silent and comply with Yin Qianchen's request. Clearly he didn't care about his own feelings.
The car parked up at the Liang family home. Liang Yunsheng vaguely remembered the first time she met Yin Qianchen.
Liang Yunsheng prepared herself as they entered the house. Yin Qianchen would have informed the Liang family they were coming over.
Liang Yunsheng felt schemed against, disappointed. But she also felt she was being unreasonable. What was there to be disappointed about?
But she didn't have the time to think about that as there was another man sat in the living room of the Liang family home.
"Yunsheng!"
He wore a white shirt and grey trousers. Although simple, they were all brand names. The man rushed to Liang Yunsheng.
Before she could dodge him, he hugged her tightly in his arms.
"Yunsheng! Come back with me!"
As soon as the man finished speaking, she felt a gust of wind brush past her face. The man that hugged her was pushed a few steps back.
"No!" Liang Yunsheng screamed, hugging Yin Qianchen's arm. She knew that with his temper, he would not stop until the man stood up. "He is my brother!"
Su Qihang stood where he was and wiped the wound on the corner of his lips. His phoenix-like eyes were fierce. "You are Yin Qianchen?" he asked.
Yin Qianchen didn't care about Su Qihang's words. He didn't even look at him. He merely pulled Liang Yunsheng behind him, preventing any further contact.
Su Qihang rushed forward and blocked in front of Yin Qianchen. "Are you declaring your ownership?"
