"What do you mean Your Highnes?" Chrystalya looked up at him questioningly.
"Feeding him." He pointed a finger at Reon curiusly as he leaned forward.
"Isn't that what nannies are here for?" He picked up the cup in front of him and took a sip.
"I wanted to raize Reon by myself. Nothing can replace parental love." Chrystalya patted his head as she wiped the milk and crumbs off of his cheek.
'Why is he asking these king of questions all of sudden?' She felt uneasy. There was no way he asked simply out of curiosity, after all he didn't cared about his son even in the original novel. So now why does he care?!
"This is not something an Empress should do." Alexandrien crossed his legs as he leaned back on his seat.
"I'm an Empress only in name isn't that right Your Majesty?" She fired back the question bluntly. Alexandrien was puzzled for a second but then he bursted out laughing.
"True, true. As expected." He chuckled. "I only married you for your name after all."
"Even I knew this much." Chrystalya didn't cared. Or to be preciless Alexandrien wasn't someone she was concerned about.
Even if she where to worry all day and night she couldn't do anything agains the Emperor. It was much more convinience to just let it be and to have as little interaction with him as possible.
"But this wasn't what I asked first." His voice become chilly sending shivers down her spine.
"Yes... The truth about why I haven't said a word about my pregnancy..."Chrystalya was hesitant. Even if she didn't tell the truth it would get found out eventually. Lies wouldn't do anything good for her in this situation.
"The truth is... I never intended to tell Your Majesty about our son. I wanted to run away with him as soon as she was two. It would had been one week from now on..."She was getting paler and paler as she continued to talk. She knew that this is not going to end well whatever she would say.
"Oh? What a honest answear. You know, in a situation like this you would get beheaded togethe with him." Alexandrien was cold. Chrystalya's blood ran cold again as she looked up at him with worry and sock mixed in her face.
"Y..Your Majesty... I gladly reacieve any punishment, but please... Reon did nothing wrong." She was shivering and lost composure. She didn't cared about maintaining her poker face anymore.
"Thats a good answear. I expected nothing less from you."His lips bloomed in a smile as he looked down on her.
"Then... Please let my son live. I will send him away with my maids. He is still young. He won't remember me, so he isn't going to give any trouble to Your Majesty in the future. He will never know where he came from..."Her eyes shined with small drop of tears but they never fall. She could only beg for his sons safety and this was hurting her.
Alexandrien pondered for a while.
