Normally the meditation taught to child below five years old was to feel and familiarize with the element energy that existed on the nature. They would not be allowed to absorb any element energy into their body prior awakening ceremony.
After the awakening and affinity had been confirmed, the meditation purposes would be more significant, other than to sensed element energy, they would need to guide and control the correct element to be absorbed into their body.
The cultivation of element energy in actual was very simple process. Those mage only needed to accumulate the element energy from the nature into their body. Once they accumulated more element energy, they would become stronger.
Inside the pentagram, Jago tried to feel the element energy that has been absorbed into his body. At first he couldn't feel anything strange, whenever the boy performed the meditation, he was asked to focus his will outsides of his body. Now, by his own idea, he tried to probe insides his own body.
After few minutes of trying, he finally felt some weak energy insides his abdomen. This location on the abdomen was normally called energy center by people of Five Element Continent. This energy was full of vitality and vibrant of life.
Although the feeling was weak, but he recognized that this energy residing in his energy center should be the wood element energy that he absorbed previously. But the strange thing was the wood element looked like it a docile small beast. It was like a mouse that has been trapped by a mighty cat to a corner.
The wood element was motionless on the abdomen and there was no movement at all from it. This was totally against the knowledge he gained before the awakening. According to Bening, once the awakening process completed, the element energy that had been absorbed would be like a wild horse that need to be tamed.
They would circulate in the body in an disorderly manner. Thus, as a host, the person undergoing awakening needed to tame this element energy little by little to be able to command this element energy for their cultivation.
What was happening to Jago right now was totally against common sense. The wood element energy that he absorbed was as docile as it can be. They didn't rampage through his body, there was no need to tamed or drew those wood element from every part of his body to his energy center.
"Is this related to the mysterious element that I absorbed after the wood element?" Jago tried to use his tinny little 5 years old brain to solve the issue.
"It should be, but then, why I can not feel any of those dark colored element energy insides my body?"
"At least seeing how the wood element behaving, although I can not feel its existence, I believe that those mysterious energy is still residing in my body. In that case, I can use it to suppress the existing colored lights on the pentagram, so I don't need to spend my youth in this god forsaken dimension."
After he took his own conclusion, Jago walked to the corner of pentagram where the lights gathered. Once he arrived at the area. Those colored lights dispersed quickly to outsides of pentagram. As soon as the last lights represented the element energy leaved the pentagram, Jago feel suction force came from pentagram's center.
Few moments later, the 5 years old boy found himself stood on the center of element sensing formation at library. He threw a glance to the corner where royal family members were. He saw Kemaki with his mocking smiles, he also saw disappointed looks on his Royal Father's eyes.
Jago turned his head and saw the results on the element sensing stone.
"A level 4 wood affinity huh?"
"The test has been completed Your Majesty." Jenggot's voices reverberated in the silent library.
"Dismiss then." Alash stood up and leaved the hall. The Queen and Concubine followed him. Only the prince and princesses remained on the library. Jenggot, as a principal of the Academy, remained on the library.
"Hahahahaha, Jago, its looks like you really are the trash of the family." Kemaki mocking laughter could be heard on the hall.
"It's not your business Big Bro." Jago replied.
"Huh, just you wait and see." Kemaki turned his body and walked out from Library's hall with his younger sister. Hening cast a pitying look to Jago before followed his big brother.
In the hall only 4 peoples remained, Jago, Anteng, Bening and Principal.
"Jago, although your talent is only level 4, with more hard work you may achieve success in the future." Principal Jenggot gave consoling advice to the boy.
"Thanks Principal, the test is done, please excuse us to leave the hall." Jago replied softly.
The 3 kids left the hall together. Jago followed them with his gaze.
"I thought a genius will be born from the Royal family previously. With such speed during element gathering, his affinity should be higher. Alas." Jenggot muttered to himself.
Currently, there was three princes of Rivermountain Kingdom. Anteng Rivermountain was the eldest prince from Queen faction, he had level 7 wood affinity. Second prince, Kemaki Rivermountain was from Concubine faction, he had level 8 wood affinities. The last prince was Jago Rivermountain. And finally, his talent had been confirmed as level 4 wood affinities, lowest affinity of the King's inheritance competitor.
Jago was unique, his mother was neither Queen or Concubine. Jago's mother was a commoner that lucky enough to become personal servant of Asri Woodforest, the Queen. Because both of them grew up together, they both became sworn sister. Later on when Asri Woodforest married to Alash Rivermountain and became Queen of the Rivermountain Kingdom, Jago's mother followed her sworn sister to the kingdom.
And thus, with Jago's result of element affinity test decided, the last awakening test of the current Rivermountain Kingdom descendant was completed.
