*Rio POV*
What we saw are the missing adventurers on the ground, In a blue glow. Wonder what that is about.
"Kuriki go with Rio and report this to the guild" Kida said
"Why?" questioned Kuriki.
"Something is not right and I intend to capture what ever is causing this" explained Kida
"I am staying with you, It is better then one person to find it themselves" Kuriki complained
Kida looked at her and sighed "Well there is no way of me getting you off my back, search that over there and I will search here"
"Okay" replied Kuriki as she went over the other side of the room.
Kuriki looked around while I look at the adventurers and Kida does what ever he does.
Looking at these adventurers closely I notice they are still breathing. I wonder how dying works in this world.
[Host in this world losing all of your health results in disappearing from the world]
'Huh well that sort of answered my question but what happens after?'
As I think about it, I heard someone calling my name.
"What is wrong Rio?" Kuriki asked from behind.
I nodded towards the adventurers, Kuriki looked at them then back to me.
Kuriki smiled at me "Do not worry about them Rio, once we head back to the guild we will give them the all clear to get these adventurers to the guild's infirmary"
I'm excited that I get to go out into this new world, Curious on why they are so friendly to me, And hungry. *groan* great thanks for the information stomach.
Kuriki laughed at me "You hungry?" as she reached into her spatial storage? all I saw was a a black-hole of some kind as she reach for something; what came out is.... bread. One of those rationed bread; the one that looks like a bun.
She looked at me and hand out the bread in-front of me and said "here." I do not even know if I can eat this. So only one way to find out... I took a bite... and spit it right back out. So here is the thing, apparently the bread is so stale It feels like eating sand paper.
'I can not eat this' I said shaking my head.
Kuriki looked at me curiously "What is wrong Rio, you did not like it? I made it myself"
'You made it yourself! You are one terrible cook' I complained at her.
I saw her took a bite out of her bread, she shrugs and says it is fine. Well I beg to differ.
"Kuriki come over here I think I found the source of the problem." Kida annouced. Kuriki rushed towards Kida, and I follow suit.
"What is it Kida" asked Kuriki.
"See for yourself" as Kida pointed to a monster.
What I saw at least to me, are two bats with red markings on their heads.
"What is a siphon bat doing here?" asked Kuriki
'Siphon bat? what are those?'
"I do not know, usually a Siphon bat lives in a cave. Considering this is a dungeon, I highly doubt someone has brought this in" Kida answered but then pointed towards the entrance "But the entrance to this rooms was open fairly recently."
"That means the C ranked adventurers got in here..."
"And encountered a Siphon bat that is ranged at 80 levels. So in the process a group of C ranked adventuers would not be able to handle not just one but two Siphon bats" Kida finished.
Kuriki hummed "I am surprised that one of them got out before the Siphon has the chance to capture them."
"Well for the most part, we know that the boss of this dungeon can not deal with a Siphon bat let alone two, so in the process; sent the entire dungeon to deal with the threat." Kida was in deep thought with his hand to his chin "Normally, monsters roam the dungeon to find any potential battle... but in this case we have not run into any Golems, just the few we have encountered."
"So what should we do about them?" Kuriki asked while pointing at the Siphon bat.
"For now you should go and get a squad to this dungeon, also get a summoner here as well" Kida replied back.
"Very well come along Rio I have a feeling you want out of here" Kuriki said
'Yup, I really want to explore this world instead of fighting for now at least.' I chirped
Kuriki giggled at me "you are so cute when you do that"
'Am not!'
*Third person*
As Kuriki and Rio went outside the dungeon, Kida is left alone with the two Siphon bats.
Kida looks at Kuriki and Rio together 'that bird is something special' Kida thought.
*Outside the Stone Dungeon*
Around the dungeon entrance, lies an ornament of stones for keeping dungeon monsters at bay. After some time, Kuriki and Rio are seen outside the dungeon. Rio, who is chirping happily away, while Kuriki; giggling at his antics. 'This is amazing, the air is so fresh I do not even smell any pollution' thought Rio. Night reigns the sky as both Rio and Kuriki walked along a stone path to a village. Together they journey together to a village settlement close by a few miles.
"Once we reach the village of IronHaven I have to mail a letter to the capital" Kuriki said
Rio, who could not communicate unless he want to use his talon to write a poorly written message, nodded.
"Then once we finish we shall go shopping for new clothes for you to wear!" Kuriki said excitedly.
Rio, who is mortified at wearing clothes seems unsure if he should follow her at all.
"I think you would look pretty nice with a bow-tie or a ribbon" said Kuriki thoughtfully
At this point, Rio chirp annoyingly at Kuriki.
"You are right we should make camp here" As soon as she said that, Kuriki set up a camp faster then a cheetah can sprint. Blinking rapidly, Rio looked at himself and the surrounding area to see that a tent and a fireplace was set up. 'what just happen' Rio thought.
While Rio is in deep thought Kuriki said good night and went inside the tent.
*Rio POV*
Seeing a campsite magically appear like that is weird. Just one second we are walking to a place she called IronHaven, Then the next we are ready to sleep.
"Well, well, well how is my special bird doing" Something whispered.
'huh where are you' I asked
"Look up"
I looked up and saw a dragon head poking out of a hole.
'Gahh' I paniced as I backed up a bit in shock.
"Relax it is me X" Identified X
'you... you... you are...' I stuttered
"Yes a dragon and no I am not going to eat you, why would I do that" he smiled at me! not helping my nerves bud.
