Somewhere in the Underworld, we find a certain pair of redhead twins chilling around inside their hideout.
The two are in their casual normal attire, opting to only wear their infamous gothic lolita dresses during missions or assignments for the sake of show and confusion to their enemies when they fight together.
Mania was wearing a normal black shirt printed with a green heart on the front. She also wears a checkered black-red skirt with black high knee socks and black-red timberland boots.
Mors favoring lighter colors over her sister is wearing a turquoise blue hoodie jacket with a light brown skirt. She also wears a pair of white high knee socks and white-red sneakers.
Overall, if you look at them then you would never suspect them to be Top-notch Assassins of the Underworld.
Mania, last name: Crimstar yawns with a very bored expression, her attractive figure lying on a sofa.
"Bored, so freaking bored!!!" The cheerful one of the Death Sisters groaned with frustration, her patience seemingly has reached her limits.
Her sister, Mors Crimstar was seen on the other side of the living room, reading a pocketbook and was currently immersing herself in it as evident by the girl's eyes of extreme focus.
"Say do you happen to know where Kayle is?" Mania asked Mors as the former quickly shifted her position to sitting.
Mors looked at her identical twin, her face ever stoic and took out her smartphone. She typed the words and shows it to Mania.
"He's out drinking at the Drunken Maiden again."
Mania pouted in indignation "Ehhh why didn't he invite us? I thought we are good besties now?"
Mors sighed and again types at her smartphone.
"Because one, you scare the crap out of the people at the bar as quoted by him. Two, whenever someone pisses you off, you always kill and throw their bodies on a nearby dumpster. As once again quoted by him, 'troublesome bitch'"
"Hey in my defense, that ugly raped face asshole the other day was lewding me!! And in fact, I did this world a voluntary service by bathing him in cold blood!!!" Mania answered as she felt very disgusted by that incident. No, not the act of killing, she absolutely loves that, but the face of her victim as he shamelessly undresses her in his eyes and also touched her precious backside in a deviant way.
At least the man was a wanted rapist, so the world indeed was granted a service by Mania Crimstar herself.
"Oh, really sis? and why didn't he invite you huh?" Mania grinned madly, in an attempt to ire her sister a bit.
Mors sighed and shook her head, again typing "Oh he did invite me, quoting 'why can't your sister be as silent as you? Does she have a screwed voice box or something?' but I kindly decline his offer, this book far more interesting than nights in a club."
Mania twitch in annoyance "Screwed voice box?! Oh, he is so lucky that Great Leader needs him or I'm gonna show him his voice box... as I pull it out from his throat!!!"
Mors simply continued reading her book, emotionless face eyeing the words with deep comprehension as she ignored her twin sister's childish tantrum.
After some time and finally calming down, an idea suddenly struck inside Mania's mind, a smirk growing on her pretty face.
"Hey sis, let's go out shopping!!!"
Mors answered Mania back with an emotionless look.
"Oh come on!!! When was the last time we had our wardrobe expanded? Sheesh, you may be my twin but your taste in fashion needs refining sister!!!" Mania cried comically.
Mors sighed deeply, typing "Its rather risky to go out sis."
"Gotta disagree with you on that one sis. Great Leader is so good to us that she has been covering our asses ever since we started working. So our reputation is not yet that solid outside of the Underworld and is just mere speculations. So come and join me!!!" Mania begged her sister.
Eyes unmoving, Mors merely replied "Too lazy. I wanna know what comes after the next chapter of this book."
"You're no fun." Mania frowned childishly. She harrumphs and added "Oh fine!!! I guess I'm going alone!!!"
Mors' apathetic expression eyed her sister, typing once more "Don't forget to get some new novels while you're at it. I heard that the new volume for this book is currently out."
Mania click her tongue in mild annoyance, murmuring at how lazy her sister is while proceeding to exit the hideout.

Inside the Drunken Maiden, the black-haired Mercenary Kayle Faragus is doing the very thing that he does best....
Drinking.
"Damn it Kayle, don't you have enough!? This is like the 7th glass already!!" Jack the blonde bartender lectured his customer with a frown.
Kayle smirk goofily, feeling a bit tipsy but nonetheless remaining in his element. "That's where you are wrong Jack. This not like the 7th glass, this is the 7th glass!!!"
Jack in response facepalmed as he shook his head. "Sweet mother of God, I've never encountered anyone who can hold their liquor in the same chaotic manner as you."
"Then I'm just so that awesome!!!" Kayle grinned and chugged down the liquor like it was nothing new to him.
"Goodness gracious, I'm never going to get used at the sight of how you gulping our strongest Ale like some glass of water." Jack said, horrified as he witnesses the scene.
Kayle playfully taps the blonde bartender's shoulder "Hahaha, oh loosen up you big baby!!! I'm a paying customer so why even complain?"
Jack merely sighed as he gave up on the issue. "Whatever Kayle." The bartender was about to turn his back to retrieve another case of beer for another customer, but he noticed something off is going on behind Kayle.
Expression turning serious, Jack leaned on the bar counter as he poured another drink, much to Kayle's surprise as the latter did not order another glass.
This is actually an action to masked his real intentions, to quietly warn the Black-haired mercenary about something.
"Hey, Jack I didn't-"
Kayle was not even allowed to finish what he was about to say as he saw Jack's extremely serious expression on his face.
The Mercenary understood the gesture and played the game.
"I would be careful now Kayle, it seems that someone has been eyeing at you behind suspiciously for quite some time."
The mercenary drank the free liquor, but not finishing it to converse properly with the bartender.
"So what does our enigmatic stalker look like?" Kayle asked with a smirk.
"Let's see, a woman with long flowing blonde hair. She's with sunglasses, wearing a black leather jacket, black biker pants, and black toe-ankle boots. Oh and she's a real looker too. Damn 10 out of 10 would definitely take her on the bed."
As Jack was grinning perversely, Kayle was shown to be paling, sweating profusely at hearing the description of his said stalker.
"Say Jack, is she also shown to be smirking, like eyeing us now like a piece of meat... like a LION?"
Jack nodded. "Yeah now that you mention it. And no, only you my friend, her gaze seemed to be focus entirely on your back. Oh and she's approaching here at this very moment."
Indeed the woman is shown to get up from her sit, closing in at the two men and proceeded to sit beside Kayle.
"Hello there miss, How can I be of service in this lovely evening for an equally lovely lady such as yourself."
Kayle sweat-drop at the bartender's flirting.
"A glass of your finest champagne please." The blonde merely smiled and Jack was enchanted by such angelic smile that he happily complies her order.
As Jack left to get her order, the woman turned her pretty face to Kayle, the former eyeing the mercenary with a devious smirk.
Kayle could only assume a nervous smile at the blonde beside him. Of course since he is acting this way, the mercenary knows her, too well in fact as she is none other than-
"Hehehe fancy meeting you here, Lucia."
Lucia Mayfield removed her sunglass, revealing her blue eyes as it locks Kayle in a soul-piercing gaze.
"Status report."

Mania Crimstar alone marvelled at the sight that is the New Moon District of Twilight City.
"Finally it has been so long since I have left the filth that is the Underworld. Mors sure does not know what she is missing!!!" The pony-tailed redhead chirps brightly as she was seen walking around the streets.
"Hmm what should be first on my agenda?" Mania stroked her chin, pondering her next course of action.
Lost on her thoughts, she was suddenly approached by a black-haired middle-aged man wearing a green suit and black dress shoes.
"You, you are the one that we are finally looking for!!" the man said with awe, his tone full of nothing but rejoice.
"Eh, excuse me?" Mania simply tilted her head in confusion, her guard up in an instant and her thoughts are now occupied on multiple ways to murder this man who approached her rudely out of nowhere.
'Oh right, this is not the Underworld. I better not be as reckless as before.' The redhead thought as she forced a rather cute smile to the man.
The man in an instant was smitten by such a divine smile "Yes, such a goddess!!! I hope that you don't mind hearing me out miss."
The man then brought out his business card, handing it to the redhead respectfully with two hands and a bow.
"My name is Fred Sanders, an idol agent representative of Stellar Entertaiment Inc. I would sincerely hope that you accept our direct invitation to be one of our idols in our esteemed agency. Oh how rude of me, may I know your name miss?"
The redhead thought a bit, pondering if she should give her real name, a name that is known to be very feared in the Underworld as criminals and syndicates tremble as their blood gushed violently while the girl gave a sickening smile.
Thinking of how stupid and impractical that is, Mania decided to introduce herself as...
"Call me Maria, Maria Crimstar." The girl gave a curtsy bow.
'Well, we never revealed our last names in the Underworld, bastards calling us Mania Death and my sis, Mors Death. We may be known as the Death Sisters but that does not imply that it is the same as our last names. Stupid fools.' The redhead thought, frowning mentally.
The man Fred excitedly replied "Maria, wow such a beautiful name and is only fitting for a beautiful goddess such as yourself!!! So do you accept our offer?"
Mania... Maria pondered for a bit, weighing the pros and cons.
The logical reason would be to reject the offer as the added responsibilities and attention of becoming a possible celebrity is unneeded and might conflict with her actual job in the Underworld.
But she could not deny such a wonderful opportunity. The chance to show her wicked beauty to the people, to garner herself some followers and if everything goes to the way she wants, then she might even produce her very own faithful devotees, to slowly induct them in her unadulterated love for blood.
Still, she can't make a decision before consulting with her Great Leader hence she invokes her wrath.
Because an angry Great Leader is a scary Great Leader.
So Maria could only answer the man "The offer is fantastic and I'm rather flattered. But may I have some time to think about it? I can't rush these sorts of life-changing events after all."
Fred simply smiled and nodded in response "Sure take your time Ms. Crimstar. If you ever take up our offer then the details are all found inside my business card."
Maria smiled gratefully in return as the man once again bow down to take his leave.
A shopping mall in her vicinity suddenly caught her attention as she proceeded in its direction.
"Finally, time for some shopping!!!"

After walking inside the mall a bit, Maria found herself inside a clothing botique filled with all kinds of women's dresses.
Maria then began to browse the clothes hanging on the rack and took the ones that caught her interest.
"Hey, Rina why don't you try this one next?"
The redhead turned to face a rather comedic scene of a well-endowed girl with violet hair as she presented some outfits to a blue-haired beauty. Maria giggled at the blue-haired girl's horrified expression as s(he) begged the violet haired girl to end the agonizing dress-ups.
"What an interesting bunch." Maria simply smirked as she proceeded again to browse the clothing.
Sometime later, she found another dress, the one that caught her attention the most.
It's an eye-catching red sheath dress that greatly compliments her hair!!!
And it seems that she is not the only one staring at such magnificent attire though.
A petite girl with a short orange hair was seen eyeing the dress with desire on her similar-colored eyes.
Maria immediately approached the dress before this girl might get it before her.
"Excuse me, are you going to take that?" Maria smiling brightly suddenly appeared beside the orange-haired girl as former asked in a bubbly, cheerful manner and pointed the outfit that latter has been eyeing at.
"Oh sure. Don't let me stop you." The petite girl gave way to Maria as the latter happily took the clothes off the rack and left while skipping forth merrily.
'Huh, that girl sure is a cutie. The reaction when she saw the price tag is pretty hilarious.'
Thoughts still lingering on the cute petite orange head, Maria... Mania Crimstar chirped happily as she went to the cashier for payment.
