Chapter 61 - Ch 61 | Crappy Memory

"I am Alexander. Who else can I be?" Alexander didn't lie. He was obviously Alexander but from a different world or universe.

Even if David asks him to pass a lie detector test, he wasn't afraid at all. This confidence was rooting from the fact that he's definitely Alexander and the headaches he faced during the soul fusion process wasn't a waste, his will and control over his own body are getting stronger with every passing day.

"You can't be my little fatty, Alexander!" Even though Alexander was confirming his identity without any hitch. But, David's heart wasn't able to accept this, he firmly and decisively denied again.

"Why can't I be Alexander?" A drop of sweat dripped from the face of Alexander. He was getting anxious. Even if he tells everyone about the existence of a system, he can't possibly tell everyone about his origin. His existence was too mysterious.

'Why is brother doubting me this much? Did I do something to expose myself? Umm… I don't remember anything, but something I did must have triggered everything going on here. What the hell did I do?' A series of thoughts started popping out of his mind-space while he was firmly looking towards Brother David to get an answer to his question.

"We brothers took a pledge, to never thank one another even if the other gives away his life for the other. But you just thanked me! You can't be my brother! This reason is enough to make me ponder about your identity!"

Alexander: "..."

'F**kkkkk! I messed up!' Alexander cried inwardly. This time he really messed up. This piece of memory was something that he skipped through while reading through his newly acquired memories, thinking of it as a filler chapter from amanasci's novels. And now he's stuck in this situation.

Alexander was trapped in a desperate situation. His CPU was already working at the maximum possible clock speed to get a solution. In the wind of the situation, he took a pledge.

'I'll never skip over anything in my memories from next time, even if it's really a filler chapter from amanasci's novel.' This was the best pledge Alexander made in his life. One should never ever skip any chapter from amanasci's novels.

"Brother… I really forgot about that pledge just now, as I was too excited about the gang and stuff while being tired from exercise. These additive effects messed up my brain." He didn't know what to do now. So as a first-aid method, he started explaining things to David and let him cool down, first.

He didn't believe that this trashy explanation would work. So, he was about to start with another round of explanation. But, soon he saw David nodding his head, after which a few words floated out of his mouth, "Mmmm... So, that's how it is."

'Holy S**t! Is my brother's CPU power that low? Was his brain developed by those crappy Chinese manufacturers from my world?' The land below his feet made an infinite tilt after listening to the understanding words of David. 'Was the author drunk? When did he order this crappy CPU for my brother? That must be it!'

Apart from ridiculing those crappy Chinese processors, Alexander can't do anything else. But he was happy, he just passed a calamity.

David suddenly started smiling radiantly and tapped on his forehead, "Shit! I forgot about your crappy memory. Since you were young you never remember anything for too long."

'Ah?... I have a crappy CPU instead of you? ' Alexander's facial expressions changed. A minute ago, he mentally accused his brother of having a crappy CPU but now it turns out that he himself was the one with a crappy CPU and harddisk.

'No wonder I thought of those memories as chapters from amanasci's novel.'

Alexander made a hollow laugh while relaxing himself, "Brother, let's leave all of this, let's go to my cottage. Other brothers will be showing up soon."

"Oh… other brothers will be there too? Then let's go" David was back to his normal self. He put up his arm on Alexander's shoulder and dragged him towards the cottage.
