Chapter 62 - Ch 62 | The Crash

Outside the forest cottage area of the Alliance Academy.

Three boys were walking towards the entrance of the cottage area while laughing and talking. They were undoubtedly the three other brothers of Alexander and David.

Elliott smiled, "After moving out, this is the first time that brother Alexander called us for hanging out."

"Yeah, it feels like we haven't had a good talk with each other for years. Today we will enjoy ourselves, till we are full." Theo spoke, while his attention was on his phone.

Jacob, the usually silent guy, was just paying attention to the content being displayed on the screen of Theo's phone. Taking advantage of his height, he would always peek into his phone.

"Tch... Jacob, what are you looking at?" Elliott smiled and asked Jacob as he also too was interested in the content that was attracting Jacob's attention.

Jacob lifted his head as he was mentioned and made a hollow laugh, he was embarrassed that he was noticed while peeking.  "Hehe… Nothing much. Theo is still chatting with his in-game girlfriend."

Elliott laughed. His friend Theo was too much into strategic games. "Brother, if you just keep on playing games then you won't be able to find a good girl in real life. You must learn the dao of life from me or Alexander."

Theo shrugged and didn't pay attention, he increased his pace and moved ahead. He was still glaring at the screen of his mobile phone.

While playing games, especially which includes special formations and military strategies, he is always too engrossed in it. He pays little to no attention to his surroundings while he's busy with his games, and this careless attitude of increases several folds when he chats with his in-game girlfriend.

A single in real life is truly dedicated to every virtual relationship, even if he knows that he's talking with a trap.

As soon as he reached an intersection, where two roads from boys residential area and girls residential area merges in one to lead towards the cottage residential area, he crashed into something or someone he didn't know.

"Aah.." two voices, a male and female came as soon as both of them fell on the hard ground while trying to grab their phones from the ground.

Elliott and Jacob laughed while looking at two figures falling on the ground but still trying to get their phones first, instead of getting up from the ground.

"His life lies in that phone, I think." Jacob laughed while approaching Theo at a faster pace to help him get up from the ground.

Meanwhile, a petite figure also approached the intersection where Theo was sitting on the ground.

As Jacob saw this familiar petite girl, he smiled and greeted.

"Sister-in-law, you are here?" And then his vision fell on the girl beside Theo. She was none other than the best friend of Hazel and Emmy, Lucy.

Both Lucy and Theo stood up from the ground, while tightly holding onto their phones. Although they wanted to continue with their games, but, they didn't start immediately.

Theo bent forward slightly and said respectfully, "Sorry, Miss Lucy. I was not careful enough."

Lucy herself was embarrassed enough, because she too was playing games while walking on the road. So, it was her fault too, " It's nothing, Theo. It's my fault too."

Theo nodded and then looked at his phone. After the formal apology is over, games come again. Moreover, his girlfriend was waiting for him.

Similarly, Lucy also looked at her phone again, without wasting any further breath.

Jacob, Elliott, Emmy: "..."

All three of them were speechless after seeing this performance. 'They really only know how to play.'

Leaving the game playing, duo on their own. Elliott smiled and greeted his girlfriend, "My dear, where are you heading this early? Do you want me to accompany you?"

Listening to his sweet words, Emmy blushed a bit as her white cheeks were suddenly tainted with spots of redness. She pouted and said in a grumpy tone, "Who is your dear? And who wants your company?"

"Hehe… '' Elliott grinned and ignoring the gazes of the passer-by students, he leapt forward slightly hugged her tightly. "I thought I was missing something today. Now I get it, it was your warm hug."

"Hmph" Emmy pushed Elliott away, but deep inside she was as happy as a little girl who just got a candy.

But right at this time, unaffected by their flirtatious behaviours, Theo and Lucy looked up at each other with surprise, shock and shyness mixed in their eyes.
