mina lost her strength and dropped down to the ground. robin suddenly scared by this change in her friend rushed towards her and held her before mina could completely lay her whole body down on the bare ground. Robin hurriedly asked, "what's wrong mina, you were just fine why did you suddenly fall down. everyone is looking too. get up soon". disoriented and still immersed in shock mina dazedly looked up at robin. on meeting her eyes, the scream echoed in her mind again. she whimpered. "i-i he-heard a scream. someone screa-screamed so loudly. what's going on. is-is anyone hurt?" she stuttered and robin found this too bothering because mina wasn't an ordinary girl. she is mentally strong.
"what scream mina? i didn't hear anything. actually i think no one heard anything. it must be your imagination." robin said,distressed. "no i really heard it robin. but, but it felt like someone screamed inside my head." "that's it. it really must be in your head. you didn't sleep well today right? i think that's why. it is meddling up your mind". mina stared back at her friend. she didn't want to refute back since she too decided to believe the reason. she was gazing absently, away from robin. a spider was building it's web, dangling from a nearby tree's branch.

a black car was standing outside the club. a stoic man in the driver seat was intently looking at the club's back door, through which his boss entered half an hour ago, who may exit any minute. two men came into his sight and he suddenly turned away, looking into the forever night. he heaved a deep sorrowful sigh. the crescent moon light was casting ambiguous shadows around every object it graced. the forever night appeared like it had many a secrets and mysteries cloaked by it's darkness. the man's eyes suddenly glinted as if he could see all these secrets and know all its mysteries.
"Mr. miller, am really glad that you personally came for the inspection of the development project you sponsored. I am really amazed of you Mr miller. at such a young age you have expanded your kingdom into an empire. your grandfather and father were strong but you outdone them. if they were alive, they would be proud of..." the short and portly man out of the two kept on blabbering to the tall man.
his face had an everlasting mischievous smirk, looking down on the short man, literally! his eyes were showing signs of annoyance but his face was of patience otherwise. he was absent minded and looking into the night at something whatever it is, but gave a nod now and then. the short man was the manager of the club. they walked towards the car all the while the manager continued to bootlick the young ceo. the man in the driver seat looked annoyed at the manager praising his boss.
two girls were walking towards the parking coming out of the entrance. suddenly mina froze in her steps. robin who was walking behind mina didn't notice this and just bumped into her back.
"ouch, mina!! what are you doing? i hurt my nose." she gazed at her friend only to find her frozen on spot. "what's the matter mina, are you alright?" her tone became one of concern since her friend continued behaving strangely. she followed her line of sight only to find two men talking. one was a really handsome man and another one was the manager. the handsome man could make any girl who saw him go weak in her knees, such a face he had. robin was confused till her face became clear suddenly.
"you like him!" she half said and half shouted. mina jerked awake from her stupor and shut her friend's mouth by clapping her hand over it. "shhhhh! what were you thinking, why did you shout so aloud?"
" so am correct. you really do like him, don't you?" "no it's nothing like that. he was so handsome that i got surprised by his beauty. "
"as if i would believe that. i know you mina. i know your every reactions. when you see a handsome man you giggle so stupidly that it is infectious, but this is different. you become stumbled, stupefied and without words only when you see someone you really like and i know you had such a boy before. it is a sad affair that he never reciprocated your feelings, but you have to go and do it again! sigh mina, you are a hopeless romantic"
"hey don't talk so long. you will become thirsty and breathless. when did i say that i like him. you are just imagining yourself" she half hid her face since all robin told was the truth. she couldn't get any decent excuses. all she could do was refute back.
robin was giving a one eyed look at her friend like, "yeah, right." with a smirk.
mina, "wipe that ass smirk off your face!"

two girls were bickering at a distance. the noise they made attracted the attention of the young ceo and the manager. the driver who was looking away also noticed the noise and turned towards the source. his annoyed look became one of fear. his mind had thoughts like,' two beautiful women! what if...?'
the young ceo who was bored till then became suddenly engrossed in the two girls childish exchanges. he couldn't hear much but whatever it was he agreed that it must be fun, since the girls were fighting but not at all hurting each other. he smiled widely and turned to the manager. " i am leaving mr. lee. all that you asked for, contact my assistant and he will arrange it all for you. i had fun. sayonaraa". he coolly dashed towards his car.
the manager just stood there, "sa-yo-na-raa?!" he stood there clueless. the car sped down the long winding road back to the city. the girls stopped their bickering to watch the magnificent contraption skidding over the night road. their eyes were glowing and they were drooling over the car. Robin turned to mina only to find her already looking at her. they both stared for a whole half a minute and then suddenly started to laugh out loud. Robin who laughed too hard, bent down in half and squeaked out few words, "while we were fighting your romeo escaped from your evil gaze."
"i said stop it! don't assume yourself, well anyways he's got taste isn't he?" mina wiggled her eyebrows at robin only to gain another round of laughter.
"yeah, yeah, he's got taste, that's why am worried about you mina" robin said seriously.
"you are having a death wish. come on I'll realise your wish then. hey! don't run. stop there young lady....oh, so you are trying to escape to home. I'll race you then, we can decide whether to beat you up or not after knowing who wins." spouting all the while till mounting the bike, mina didn't stop talking and started chasing robin who already had a headstart to her friend and flying down the same road the black car vanished.
