Opening the door to the master's bedroom. Nikki looked around and sighed as she walked in. The master's bedroom was the same as she had remembered, very lavish. There was a big king sized bed in the middle of the room with two small drawers on the left and right side of the bed. There was a vanity mirror directly opposite the bed with a dressing table. On the side of the bed before the door, there were two large sofas in L shape with a small centre table in the middle. On the other side was a door that led to the bathroom. Beside the dressing table was a flat screen LED TV.
Looking at the man that was sitting on one of the sofas with a relaxed expression and a glass of what seems to be like orange juice, Nikki's face froze over as the temperature in the room fell.
"Seems like your kidney is already destroyed." Nikki's cold voice reverberated through the room. She was smiling but it didn't reach her eyes.
"No, it's not." James said gently as he took a sip of his juice. Nikki opened her mouth ready to retort but was interrupted. "I'm keeping it for you." As Nikki's mouth opened in shock he smiled. Of course she understood what he was saying, when she was still living with him he was always forcing himself on her whenever he was drunk.
Nikki's heart filled with hatred thinking of that memory. All Nikki could see was his evil smile. Suddenly she started laughing. "We both know I'm not the one on your mind" Looking at his face slowly twist, Nikki felt happy.
James stood up with a dark face, making his way to her as his aura turned heavy. "That was then, now you are the one that's always on my mind now."
"What do you want to do?" Nikki couldn't help but retort angrily "Beat me like you used to do?" Nikki looked at him and spat in her mind.
James immediately stopped. Looking at those eyes filled with hatred, he felt so bad. He was the one that caused those beautiful eyes to be corrupted with hatred.
"I'm sorry." That's all he said as he quickly walked out, blushing slightly.
Nikki was stumped again. Did this guy forget to take his medicine? Looking back into the room, she tossed James weird behaviour to the back of her mind, locked the door and went to take a shower.
